Yes, we joined the other cruise people and got a picture by the Big Fiddle. It's a little difficult to get all the fiddle in the picture. It does add some character to the cruise Port and creates photo op for visitors. There is also a nice group of vendors showing many local crafts at the Terminal.

Great experience regarding artistic and innovative local design and craft. More retail space like this on Charlotte Street would be welcome. It seems the cruise ship fiddle shops has become the new Charlotte Street

The Sydney waterfront has been nicely redeveloped, with a nice boardwalk, and several monuments. We came to Sydney on a cruise ship, so it was an easy walk for us.

My first visit to this place was just this summer and I'm sad that I didn't discover it sooner!
It was an easy peaceful walk and I will definitely be back again.

This was a lovely house. There was a tour guide at different stations explaining the different areas of the house. One of the really neat things was learning some of our now common terms and the origins behind them. The floor with the rope and the doors that were shaved and redone were quite interesting!! There is definite spiritual activity in the house.

We’d had some of their beers in restaurants, but wanted to try from the source. Glad we did; they have a much wider selection on tap than we found in any restaurants. Their stout is outstanding ! Full of flavor with a nice after taste. They made sure you could taste as many as you like to get one you enjoy. Wish we were in the area longer to try more.

Maritime monument Set on the boardwalk that runs along the seafront, this memorial is a tribute to the thousands of Canadian Merchant seamen who gave their lives in World War Two. Better than a statue, it is a frozen moment of time where four sailors are in peril.

It is always great to visit and learn about a home built in the 1700's. The staff (apparently volunteers) did a great job of sharing the history of the home and the family of the Cossit family. We learned in the kitchen of a drink the earlier settlers used to get vitamin C. They boiled pine and spruce needles to which they added things such as syrup and rum - we were provided a taste. The gentleman in the kitchen (in period clothing) was great!
You have several steps going in plus steps to the second floor, plus the atic. For 2$ well worth the visit. We visited on a rainy day when several cruise ships were in port. We arrived just a a tour group was leaving so the place was packed but soon cleared out to a reasonable number.

One of those must see that has become somewhat overrated. It is worth a look if you are in the area. It all felt a bit commercial when we visited, strange as there is not fixed entrance fee, just make a donation. It’s not very big, lots of people in and a women giving something of a talk to a group at the front. Didn’t feel churchy though it looks the part from the outside

Coxheath is a very beautiful place to go for a trek. Everyone can go there because it is a short trek and people can climb it easly. There are ropes, made my trek easier. The view from the top was really awesome and i was feeling so pleasent. People also came for skiing and other adventures. My suggestion is to go in the morning or in the evening. The sunset was really beautiful from the top. And evening lights are good for photographers to take scenic pictures. Family and friends can enjoy the trip to the fullest.

There isn't a piece of town history that isn't here from the steel and coal mines to family living and military history. Old cameras, typewriters, sewing machines, ovens, and so much more. The people were amazing with the hot coffee and oatmeal bars, friendly smiles and warm hospitality.
