It was the most wonderful thing to do on a cold winter day to have a delicious bowl of chowder. It is a pleasant mini harbour cruise and Ambassatours sails around the perimeter of the island first so you get a full scope of the fortification. When I kept the app on, I was occasionally surprised to have a description of a nearby tour spot start as I unknowingly got near to it! The descriptions are engaging and interesting, sometimes using character voices! Coming from the “Left” coast, I have a great appreciation for the long and storied maritime history for one of Canada’s beachheads to the new world. It wanted me to use roaming on my phone in order to use audio tour which would cost a lot since I was international. Couldn’t use app/tour. Very disappointed.
