This is a very imposing building located toward the center of town and near the government functions. It is older than most structures in the center and has housed some important provincial offices. We took a peak inside and liked the look.

A very impressive building, over 200 years old. You can watch the guards change! Entrance is free and tours last about 30 minutes

The facility is primarily used by archivists and people doing genealogical research.
I, however, enjoy visiting the rotating art displays in the Chase Exhibition Gallery.

The Chase Gallery, located on the lobby level offers short-term exhibition space for local and provincially-based artists and art organizations. Feature exhibits change monthly. Free Admission.
