Great way to spend an hour or two! $10 for two adults and one child under 6. Scavenger hunt for the kids was fun, and kept the little one engaged in the exhibits, lots to see and some fun interactive exhibits. Details about the Halifax explosion, the Titanic and all of the centuries of detail about the Halifax Harbour.

Staff were super helpful, showing us secret spots and got to find all of the scavenger items when we got stuck.

5 year old of the group rated it a 10/5.

It's a chapter of our history that I believe every Canadian should know. In 1964, after years of neglect, Halifax City Council voted to relocate the people of Africville and went on destroy a community of mostly Black residents on the shore of the Bedford Basin that had its roots in the Loyalist migration from the U.S... With no meaningful input from residents, the city razed their homes and their beloved Seaview United Baptist Church which was the focus of their community -- all in the name of "urban renewal. Well worth the visit.

CCS Acadia became part of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic collection in 1982. Visit this ship is not as exciting as visit the neighboring warship, but it's still interesting to step on aboard and see how this ship looks inside. It is a former hydrographic ship that served its purpose until 1969. It served as a patrol and escort vessel during world wars and later as a training ship.

Located at the scotiabank centre this is a great find. Covers all sports with an expanded section for Sidney Crosby. No charge for admission, worth going through

I have been to some great car museums over the years and frankly was not expecting much when local car dealer and well known businessman Rob Steele opened one recently in Bayers Lake. I couldn't have been more wrong. While it's not going to compete with the Petersen Museum in LA, Steele Wheels has an incredible collection of classic cars including some real rarities. The cars and motorcycles are in immaculate condition and look like they just came out of the show room.

There are a number of interesting stories told including the importance of the Green Book to American Black travellers and the long standing relationship between Suburu and the gay community.

There's an old fashioned Airstream Diner, lots of car related video and racing games and a selection of travel related album covers including the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels.

If you want to see a number of priceless Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other rarities you'll find them here including a version of the Ferrari that Justin Bieber modified against all the rules.

I took my grandson and he loved it. At $10.00 each entry it was a steal (pun intended) compared to other car museums. I believe this will become a must visit attraction in Halifax before long.
