Our tour guide was Leslie & she was fabulous. She was extremely knowledgeable and was a great storyteller. The Public Gardens were gorgeous and the views from the Citadel were unparalleled. Peggy’s Cove was a small village but quite picturesque with delicious food and quaint shops. Very professional and well executed tour. We had a wonderful day!

Our tour guide Reg was an amazing. He has lots of knowledge about the history and food of each places. He even recommended fantastic local cuisine eateries! I have the most amazing Truffle Lobster Roll at Tom Lobster Shack right beside the Peggy's Cove light house! He was on time too! Accommodating and cracks us with his NS blue nose jokes!

Coleen was an outstanding guide who went above and beyond to provide a personalized experience for all of her guests. She provided a few extra photo opportunities based upon the input of her guests.

Paul is very passionate about his city and really brings the sights to life. We are left with a much greater understanding and deep respect for the history of Halifax and it's people. The tour exceeded our expectations!!TY

I actually unexpectedly had to cancel day of. Jonathan was a dream to work with to make the administrative changes. You could tell just from the personal touch and understanding that this is the type of small business owner you would want to support. He puts his heart into his business and reflects the friendly East Coast values we all love. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful and relaxed day with Stewart. He was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore the Public Gardens, and best of all, Peggy's Cove. Highly recommend this private tour!

Excellent tour, we visited Peggy's Cove and quaint fishing villages. Our tour guide Paul was very prompt, informative and professional. He communicated well prior to our tour with clear simple instructions. He kept us ahed of the crowded tour buses. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour.

Thor was an excellent guide. Chatty, knowlegeable and engaging. Would recommend this guide.
A bit late picking us up - we didn't realise that this was not a private tour so he had a couple of pickups to do before he got to our hotel. Not a big problem - just unexpected. Good journey with plenty of stops and interest.
We had the lobster roll. It was very good. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't expecting us (6 of us) and so 4 of our party left to find food elsewhere. Slight problem re paying the bill - I had expected Thor to come to the restaurant after parking the car but we had to phone him.
Plenty of time to explore Lunenburg. Walked up to the academy, visited the museum and Blue Nose 2. It was VERY hot that day. Treated ourselves to an icecream!
I would have given 5 stars except for the mess up at the restaurant.

Bruce gave my wife & I a fantastic personalized tour of historic Lunenburg, as well as central Halifax & the areas surrounding our travels. He was waiting for us at the pick-up point ahead of time, which meant we had bonus extra touring time. He gave us a full pre-departure briefing using a detailed map which set the scene for our tour & gave us a good idea of what to expect.

He had a store-house of information & kept the narration coming. He gave us regular stops for refreshment & restroom stops & impromptu stops including some shopping.

He tailored our trip to our interests, mainly photography, history & general interests. He had an in-depth knowledge of many aspects, particularly in historic Lunenburg & points of view that may be unlikely covered by others. We had a very nice lunch in Lunenburg right where he dropped us off for this.

Our selected 6 1/2hour tour effectively & efficiently used our time allowed by the cruise ship movements & he made sure we were comfortably returned in time.

We have no hesitation in recommending Bruce for a tour of Lunenburg & the Halifax Nova Scotia area generally - do yourself a favour! He gives really outstanding value for money & is such a personable driver & guide. I took over 200 photos of this tour which is many more than average & look forward to processing them from RAW format.

Overall the tour was good. Rick was friendly & knowledgeable. It was a small group, so it was easy to get to know the other people.
The driver was a super nice person, but she was extremely nervous about driving in the rain. Her driving was fair at best. She was unsure of herself.
    Lunch was excellent!

This is a great opportunity to see Nova Scotia beyond Halifax. Our driver Jonathan was very informative and helpful. The stops were well chosen including the historic, scenic and wineries. Poor weather intervened but this was a trip which I recommend highly.

Elaina & Mike are wonderful hosts/guides and you feel like you're travelling with your good friends. They are well-travelled and know how to make a "tour" seem like a visit with local friends.
First, nice that Elaina emailed me right away after I sent inquiry about the tour (while 'another' tour company only responded after I re-sent my inquiry two days later). Mike & Elaina emailed me the afternoon before the tour confirming the pick-up time at my hotel - nice! And they stated they have umbrellas and rain ponchos in case it rained, and suggested we could bring our own lunches if we desired. Any entrance fees were included, so no wasting time standing in line to get tickets.
Second, after they picked me up at my hotel and we were all on the road, they told us about special events at some stops (Mahone Bay's annual Scarecrow exhibit), and asked each of us where we wanted to spend the most time. Due to the weather forecast we decided to skip one stop and spend more time at the Ovens Caves. We lucked out that Peggy's Cove had few tourists to interfere with photo taking, so we spent more time at Mahone Bay too.
Third, a couple of us had dietary restrictions; Mike & Elaina offered us several suggestions on which restaurants in Lunenburg would be good for us to have lunch.
Fourth, Elaina and Mike pointed out places we passed on the way on the roads, and at every stop specifically pointed out the locations of the washrooms. Very much appreciated.
Lastly, this South Shore Adventure tour left each of us with a desire to return and see more on our next visit to this part of Nova Scotia. Looking forward to returning next year and going on another adventure with Supernova Tours.

Prompt pickup which was appreciated. So nice to have tour for aourselves rather than multiple pick-ups. Bruce stuck to his "script" so did not engage in any discussion about anything else. Informative about the sites and places we visited or drove past. Good idea of his to have prepared cards which we took a photo of before we started taking photos of that particular area. Less opportunity for photos from back seat so put your best photographer in the front. I still took 137 photos. My friend took well over 300 from the front seat.
