Jonathan Duru is a master story teller, knows Halifax history, as well as the surrounding areas, and I consider his pricing to be very competitive, and about half of what a cruise ship wauld charge. - Travel D6 contributionsI did a small group tour of Lunenburg and Mahone bay. this was by far one of the best tours I've ever taken. Away from the crowds at Peggy's Cove, beautiful views and a leisurely pace.

The tour was planned out perfectly and we saw so many beautiful spots that the cruise ship excursions would not have taken us to. The pricing is extremely reasonable for a private tour. You have several hours to explore the town - I popped into some art galleries, visited the Fisheries museum and took a harbour boat tour. Plenty of time to get a taste of this town. We explored Halifax and learned what a beautiful city it is and how they are maintaining their historic buildings and appearance. He adds to his narrative with history moments that he runs on a Samsung screen display.
