- Annette F13 contributionsWe were wowed by the variety of vendors from delicious food to eat there to meats fresh, smoked or canned, preserves of every description, sweets, breads, giftware of all descriptions, clothing from head to foot. I was interested in getting some alpaca wool I wanted for a project and found a lovely selection and you could buy finished articles as well. We also bought some fabulous vegetables at reasonable prices. We’ll be backWritten December 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joseph GMontreal, Canada5,202 contributionsWe visited this market on a Saturday morning just before we began our long trip home. We were able to park free on the premises.
The place features an indoor section as well as a small outdoor section.
There are different vendors (no resellers) with fresh local produce, tasty foods, flowers, and an assortment of hand made goods.
Food wise, you can find somosas, empanadas, as well as Mennonite breakfast sandwich, and what we bought for the road: panini with an assortment of cold cuts, cheese and lettuce with spicy sauce that when we ate them on the road turned out to be simply filling and delicious.Written November 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - traveller976Oakville, Canada256 contributionsWe went on Wednesday afternoon…. Nice market but we found the selection to be very limited. The Indian woman on the main floor had amazing fried rice, pakora, spring rolls and so much more…. I wish we had bought more from her!! We were looking for fruit and vegetables and found the selection to be very limited - no fruit anywhere and we couldn’t find peppers, mushrooms, onions etc.Written July 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trek74707615 contributionsNext week, they move into a cozier warm environment pre Christmas. This past weekend was in the arena - a little dismal at first upon entry. Soon to be celebrated: Muskoka Lamb, Severn Sunset - fabulous chilly, excellent quality of foods. The sour dough bread was outstanding, stencils fo Xmas are coming. We purchased fresh greens, beets, bread, cheese and foods for a fabulous Sunday night dinner. Thanks to the farmers and vendors who are there for us throughout the year! Looking forward to the cozier environment next weekend. We’ll be back!Written November 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fresh produce, coffee, crafters, kombucha, baked goods and ready to eat food offerings. Kids loved the "churo lady". Lots of dogs in the market area... nice that they were all leashed and well behaved in the hands of their people. Yoga in the market space and live music were nice additions.Written October 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
