- Explorer_IMCambridge, Canada561 contributionsIt was a family outing to enjoy pumpkin patch and this visit did not disappoint at all. Pumpkins were almost over but little themed patches were enjoyable . The bakery also had good collection of pumpkin delicaciesWritten August 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marguerite SKingston, Canada435 contributionsThe history, the premises, the staff were all excellent! Quite a facility producing a good quality beer selection. Amazing the cleanliness of the producing floor & how quickly the production line can produce such a quantity of beer. We were unaware of the beer selection that this facility actually produces. Also sat & enjoyed the flight of beers that we enjoyed on their patio. We would recommend a stop & enjoy the premises to any local groups or anyone touring stopping in the community.Written October 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marathon59Detroit, MI493 contributionsNice patio to enjoy some beer and food. It was our first time so we did half pours. The beer variety was good and they all tasted great. The flat bread was a good treat to have while enjoying beersWritten June 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jim mHolymoorside, UK1,179 contributionsstopped in on the off chance and saw the stills. Interesting hybrid still system whereby on pot still does all by being rectified in small columns - ok for the gin and vodka but not a lot of copper about to clean the spirit for whisky? interesting place - wish I had had more time there.Written October 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheFoodBroGuelph, Canada10 contributionsThe pizza (Card in the Spokes) was pretty good (4 star) but the wings were terrible (1 star). They seemed like the kind of wings you'd get for dirt cheap at No Frills -- very small and didn't taste great. Overall, a so-so experience and I likely wouldn't come back -- I'll round my score up to a 3 since pizza seems to be their forté and they do it reasonably well. As an aside, their beer is quite good (I've picked up several types at the LCBO), but I'm strictly reviewing the restaurant.Written July 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony VOttawa, Canada2 contributionsA little disappointed with this business. We had a few drinks, the caesar's were delicious. My wife ordered the smoked caesar but was informed the smoker was broken but they would subtract the $2 you pay for the smoke. Really! We also ordered a charcuterie board. Worst charcuterie board I've ever experienced. A little bit of prosciutto, a few slice of very mild cheese, a bunch of crumbled parmesan - I have never had crumbled parm on a board. Not a good cheese for nibbling. No other meats were included. The bread was so hard it could have broken a tooth. The jam was ok. Our server dropped a glass and then disappeared for 20 minutes. We had one drink then left. Not worth staying longer.Written July 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wallyandbethDe Tour Village, MI16 contributionsIf you like making your own wine or beer, this is a must stop. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Outstanding selection of grape juice and wine making supplies. We made arrangements to start the fermentation of our juice six weeks in advance of our circle tour of Lake Huron. We made this our last stop before returning to Michigan. What a wonderful experience we had bottling or valpolicella. The wine we made tasted great and we look forward to sharing it with our family and friends.Written July 13, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travlr36Burlington, Canada29 contributionsWe booked a private corporate Taste Detour for a Teambuilding event. Lynn was very easy to work with (despite many, many changes!) and was so incredibly helpful! She worked with me to plan a perfect tour for the team that included appetizers at La Reina (OMG, we will be back for more margaritas and tacos soon), small bites and cocktails at Miijidaa (you have to check out their drink menu) and ended with a beer tasting and dessert at The Wooly Pub. My team is STILL raving about the food! And on top of that, Lynn is an amazing tour guide who is so knowledgeable and passionate about the City of Guelph. We learned so much, got to see a bit more of the city and had great food and an overall outstanding experience. HIGHLY recommend Taste Detours!! What a great teambuilding event!Written June 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sandra SKitchener, Canada21 contributionsThey had a very interesting class on creating your own makeup. My daughter totally enjoyed it. - Melissa232692Toronto, Canada88 contributionsLisssssennnnn! When in Guelph...I was visiting my sister in Guelph for the long weekend. She knows I love me some ice cream parlor ice cream. She took me to The Boathouse Tea Room & Ice Cream spot. You can rent canoes there for some relaxing time on the water too! For us this trip was all about the Ice Cream though on a lazy Civic Holiday weekend. The website says open everyday BUT I am unclear whether or not that includes WINTER hours post Labor Day weekend, so I suggest calling first if you are considering visiting in fall, spring or winter. This ice cream was/is next level and I'm picky 'bout it! They also have VEGAN options.
