It’s a church. Nice one. Not very fancy but feels historic. It’s too bad they removed the towers it gave the place a character and an original look

I grew up attending this church. My mom was the first Female Warden in the Anglican Church at this Church. St. Georges was first built in the city's square downtown and later moved to its current site. It's craftsmanship is amazing.I recently went back to the church to view its beauty. It is a must see when visiting Guelph. .

This is the St. Andrew St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.

    The church is beige outside.

    There are trees.

I liked that church. It was huge and attractive!

    A must see!

My daughter and I attended the Sunday morning worship service at Royal City. Worship had several elements - praise band, thought provoking sermon and time for quiet reflection. The atmosphere is quite laid back. There is a place to get coffee DURING the service and people seem to come and go throughout worship. There is a place at the back for kids to play quietly as well as Cafe seating in the back too.
The people were friendly and the pastors were engaging and warm.
The building is quite interesting and full of history.

I'm the minister of St. Andrew's in Guelph and every year we do a pulpit exchange with Knox. Not taking anything away from the great people and place that I serve at St. Andrew's, I'd say that Knox is a lovely congregation as well.
The building is quite historic and the sanctuary is grand. It has recently been renovated so that the front area is more like a stage - improved accessibility and gives the worship team more options to be creative in services.
Their music program is quite strong and has elements that include both traditional and contemporary. Organ music, piano and guitars plus a bell choir and many other musical treats occur on Sunday mornings from what I understand.
Johan, their minister is a very warm and compassionate leader and pastor. His preaching and worship leadership is excellent.
The congregation is quite friendly and has some diversity. There are children's programs as well.

If St. Andrew's didn't exist and if I wasn't a minister myself, I'd definitely consider attending Knox regularly.

You should give it a try if you are considering attending a church... of course, I'd be remiss to say that you might also give St. Andrew's a try as well along your search - who knows, one of these places my become your new church home.

My family and I love Guelph Bible Chapel and we call this our home church! I first joined 6 years ago and noticed how down-to-earth everyone is, as well as welcoming and friendly. The focus from the sermons, teaching, prayers and worship music is always on our Lord. It was so easy to get to know folks and the congregation has truly become our church family. My son has always had a blast in the nursery and now that he's old enough for Kids Church, he's having fun with his friends and learning about the Bible. This church has families, singles, seniors, college students, couples, youth, families with babies all the way up to grown kids. We have folks who are from Guelph, but also from many parts of the world. We all share a desire for Jesus and a heart for his Gospel.
