- Alice3913Mississauga13 contributionsI went on Friday, February 10th and picked up a blueberry pie, cheesecake brownies lemon squares, date squares and butter tarts. Everything was excellent and not cloying sweet like so many desserts are. There was a lovely selection of gourmet goods and I bought a lemon dill dip. The person operating the counter/cash was very friendly. I'd ho again. I just wish it weren't so far away from me!Written February 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Maurene_KDover, NH12,593 contributionsWhile visiting Canadian friends with some friends from home, we had mostly group activities, but one day was a free day to spend doing things with one’s home host or hostess. At mid-afternoon on that day, we went to Locke Street. We'd used it in the comings and goings all week.
I always knew when we were traveling Locke Street because we'd go by a lot of historic churches and antique dealer shops.
Some of the more historic churches included Locke Street Presbyterian Church (1886), Saint John the Evangelist Anglican Church (1891) which was my friend's church, Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (1893), Herkimer Street Baptist Church (1897), and Immanuel Congregational Church (1897).
Some of the dealers included J Taylor Antiques, Locke Street Antiques, Antiques On Locke, Olive's Oddments, and The Antique & Collectible Superstore were some that we browsed.
Locke Street is also home to other types of shops and restaurants.
Parts of Locke Street are quite trendy.
Locke Street is definitely an area to visit for shopping, dining, and admiring architecture of 1800's churches and buildings from the Victorian Era.
We rate Locke Street at 4.50 and recommend a visit.

Full of antiques and shabby chic items there was so much to see. Looks like separate areas inside for different sellers so very interesting walking around.Written October 13, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carl FDundas, Canada66 contributionsThis place is a lovely spot in the country, growing lavender organically, and selling a myriad of lavender products in their charming shop. The apiary creates amazing lavender honey. (HumbleBee apiarist Luc Peters started their organic apiary - he can tell you a lot about bees if you visit while he's there.)Written October 4, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Katherine T1 contributionI went to Miller shoes because I heard that they had a great selection for hard to fit feet. The sales person I got seemed pretty knowledgeable and kind at first but I felt like she wasn’t really listening to my own style preferences and kept pushing her own narrative as to what she thought was cool and stylish for my life style and didn’t seem to care that I was getting increasingly uncomfortable. I tried to keep an open mind and tried to consider her selections and figure out how the shoes would go with my existing wardrobe and lifestyle needs. Because I was considering something new and the shoes were quite expensive (but fair price for the quality and still within my budget) I was having a hard time making a decision-especially so close to lunch. When I could tell she was getting frustrated with how long I was taking I suggested to my family we go for food and come back when I decided which pair or two I wanted from the 3 pairs I had narrowed it down to she became very aggressive and rude even though I was apologetic about being indecisive (I have an anxiety disorder and I was feeling a little hangry). I think it’s important to note that it was a weekday morning and the store was empty besides my family most of the time so it’s not as if I was preventing her from working with other customers. I ultimately decided I really liked a brand of boots she showed me from Germany (and plan to go to their store in Berlin when I’m there next summer) but i didn’t go back to buy the pair of boots at millers because she made me feel far too anxious to go back in that store ever again just because she though I was being unreasonable because I needed more than 30 mins to decide if I was comfortable spending $400-$1000 on shoes that were outside my normal style preferences.Written December 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jerry D from BramaleaCaledon, Canada250 contributionsThe mall is clean, the stores that are open are okay.
Zig zags a bit - kind of quirky.
Underground parking was great !
Highlight was Nations Grocery store and the lovely middle aged lady "manning" the security / information kiosk (we were there ~ 5- 6pm on Thursday January 16th)

- Summon S.10 contributionsI have been visiting THE KITCHEN WITCH shop now for over 10 years, since I moved to Ontario Canada. It is the most darling enchanting little shop. Filled with magical, mystical and unique items from around the world, it also features beautiful wares like Parisian cloth table linens , designer placemats , elegant table setting ware, the best selection of cheeky, if you dare, greeting cards in town. Always new things in store and always great fun to visit. The owner and staff are fabulous. A true Dundas Village Treasure.Written September 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- John DHamilton, Canada108 contributionsExcellent curries, and service.. The only problem is transportation. Taxi there was fine, but at the end of the meal we were unable to get transportation back to our hotel. Staff were unable to get us a taxi or Uber. Walking was a disaster. I am disabled and restaurant is well up Brick lane. It was p...... with rain. So don't go unless you can get out !!!
