- Bryce K1 contributionWe wondered if seeing reptiles would be interesting to our grand-kids (3 1/2 and 7) when we took them away for the afternoon from their screens and lego. It was heartening to see that Nature fascinated them. My spouse and I were fondly reminded of own childhoold encounters with nature. We sat in on two presentations by Sierra who was cheerful, energetic and shared good information about the critters she introduced and their species. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. Little Ray seems to operate a pleasant work environment. - Carl AHamilton, Canada31 contributionsquietly nestled into a small part of Churchill Park lies the Friends of the Aviary in Hamilton. although not a huge facility the first thing I noticed is how dedicated the staff is to their birds. It doesn't take long to cover the whole place so we took our time and tried to have a chat with many of the lovely birds with some responding. you see pictures of these animals but rarely come this close so the colours were very impressive.
