- beachdreamer25Stoney Creek, Canada11 contributionsThis pool and it's staff are good. Kids used to take swim lessons here and the staff was always great with them. Water fit classes are good and you get out what you put into them! I really enjoy them. Front desk staff is helpful all the time too. I have rented the party room before and it is a reasonable rate and holds many. would highly recommend for birthdays/showers etc.Written November 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Myles C7 contributionsThis place is definitely worth your time. The bouldering and difficulty are both top notch, and there's even dogs!Written December 29, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- devfam19Hamilton, Canada31 contributionsThis skating loop is a fun little family destination. There is an indoor area to tie skates and warm up and the ice rink seemed well cared for. If you are a visitor, Tim Horton’s is across the way for warm drinks.Written January 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Annie1 contributionGreat experience as someone who has done many before! The puzzles were challenging and fun, perfect for my novice friends as well. We were so close to the end, the game master (person watching over us) kindly gave us extra time!!! So sweet! But unfortunately, we weren't able to complete it...that's how you know it's challenging! Will go back for the other games!Written April 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Meaghan EdwardsHamilton, Canada3 contributionsIt's a shame those that go to the track for the horse racing are treated like second class citizens. No plans for when winter arrives? Just leave the horses racing attendees outside in? Indoor access restricted to those who wish to watch the racing. I understand COVID restrictions but why are the horse racing attendees treated as being less important as those in the casino?
Let me state that my family have been going to the track for decades and it has gone down hill fast. No more "family days", nothing to draw families to the track anymore, confusing reconfiguration that started before COVID. If Grand River and Mohawk can find ways to draw in audiences, surely Flamboro can to or hand the track over to someone who cares about the sport, it's spectators and those involved in horse racing!
There isn't even handicapping in between the races. Sorry, but the online betting contest doesn't cut it; it doesn't draw people to the track in person.
Maybe look at how well Grand River Raceway is run, great attendance, family events, even Racing Under Staddle races, etc! This track under its current management is doing a great disservice to this great sport. Tracks need to be beneficial to the sport, not a detriment.Written October 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The large park was set aside by the city to provide a multi use recreational area in the neighbourhood. It contains two playground areas for kids, a splash pad, tennis courts, football field and soccer pitches. Several walking trails are found in the park, some paved, some not. There is a large pond that is the central feature of the park that has become inhabited by some ducks and geese. There is a change house and washrooms and a fair bit of parking available off West 5th Street.
The only problem that have surfaced are complaints that some people are using motorized dirt bikes on the walking trails which poses a hazard to people who are just out walking. Other than this, it is a perfect park for all people.Written October 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is like having two parks in one almost. TB McQueston also has a soccer field, playground and parking lot. Overall, I enjoy this park.Written June 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- valeriemcconnachie70Burlington, Canada6 contributionsthe slots are good and did not continually take your money with no return. The bar and staff are terrible. They do not have any idea of what they are selling, its basically white or red wine, and 5 ounces rather than six for $7.50. no customer service and Lily is the worst to try and talk with no customer relations experience on any complaint or discussion. Her way to resolve is get security to put the persons out, that did not work as security did not feel warranted. Have tried to tell casino they are losing money but obviously they are not listening .... bar needs cleaned out and new staff who can run it properly. they have the nerve to have a "tip cup" there they show $5 bills donated. Customers behind us like ourselves were refused drinks, they had closed before 11pm. Highly disappointed in the way the bar is run. At one time if you ordered for a group you could only take 2 drinks away from the bar at a time, this is so mickey mouse. We left early as disgusted so casino lost money there too.Written November 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - annaprikazchikovaHamilton, Canada15 contributionsWhat a great experience. I came yesterday with my co workers for a team building activity day. We got recommended a great first time room called the Secret Society, and it was So. Much. Fun. Zoltan our wonderful instructor was not only helpful but very attentive. For first timers, I'm personally glad we got some hits haha we needed them.
It was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this venue. Weather you are doing a team building activity like we did, or just coming in with friends this is a great experience over all.Written October 22, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a nice park with a decent sized playground with slides and swings for the kids and a covered gazebo-like structure with a picnic table. In the summer there is a splash pad and the city of Hamilton has what's called a "Supie" who supervises kids and arranges some activities during the week.Written January 10, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SailorAirmanHamilton, Canada3,540 contributionsCame here with a friend who is a member to play a couple games. It was only my third time curling and it is a much more difficult sport than it looks on TV. Lots of slipping and falling so wear some thick pants if you're new at it. The building itself is an arched sort of barn like structure which provides some cool acoustics, great for when the yelling starts. Definitely a must try for a bit of CanadianaWritten March 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Louise DStoney Creek, Canada465 contributionsAlthough I had passed Adventure Village many times I had never taken the opportunity to go there. After reading reviews on this place I decided to take my grandchildren on an outing here. There are several different admission offers but we simply chose the mini golf package . It was a really fun course.. and fairly long so it did take some time. That was ok because we were not in a hurry. After completing the course we stopped at the refreshment booth on site for a drink for my grandson. My granddaughter chose a beverage from the vending machine which also had a good variety to choose from. Prices for food and drink seemed reasonable although we did not try the food . After sitting for a while I bought a “ bag of gem stones” for my granddaughter to sift through. It consists of a small bag of sand with “gems” inside and you have to dump into a sieve along a water trough and sift out the sand to find your “ gem stones”. Both children enjoyed doing this and my grandson decided to buy a bag as well . This led to a 3 rd larger bag to share. You are provided with a guide to the stones you find. We found the larger bag had more sand in and less gem stones than the small!
All in all this was a fun couple of hours. The mini golf course is in excellent shape and the park is very clean!Written September 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Last night we did Santa's workshop which was fun time at this time of year! We managed to escape before the one hour was up but it was still a challenging and fun bunch of puzzles that we had to solve! Definitely recommend Keymasters!Written November 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
