What travellers are saying
- devfam19Hamilton, Canada31 contributionsThis skating loop is a fun little family destination. There is an indoor area to tie skates and warm up and the ice rink seemed well cared for. If you are a visitor, Tim Horton’s is across the way for warm drinks.Written January 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - trainfan2000Hamilton, Canada2,590 contributionsThis new park is located just minutes away from one of the busiest streets on Hamilton mountain. The large park was set aside by the city to provide a multi use recreational area in the neighbourhood. It contains two playground areas for kids, a splash pad, tennis courts, football field and soccer pitches. Several walking trails are found in the park, some paved, some not. There is a large pond that is the central feature of the park that has become inhabited by some ducks and geese. There is a change house and washrooms and a fair bit of parking available off West 5th Street.
The only problem that have surfaced are complaints that some people are using motorized dirt bikes on the walking trails which poses a hazard to people who are just out walking. Other than this, it is a perfect park for all people.Written October 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is like having two parks in one almost. TB McQueston also has a soccer field, playground and parking lot. Overall, I enjoy this park.Written June 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SailorAirmanHamilton, Canada3,540 contributionsI live in the area and when my nephew comes over to visit I often take him to this park. It's a nice park with a decent sized playground with slides and swings for the kids and a covered gazebo-like structure with a picnic table. In the summer there is a splash pad and the city of Hamilton has what's called a "Supie" who supervises kids and arranges some activities during the week.Written January 10, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brittany AHamilton, Canada5 contributionsOur almost two year old twins had a blast here and so did we! They didn't love the baby/toddler area as it is small and kind of boring, but they LOVED the big play structures and we had fun exploring with them!! We will be back!Written April 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
