A great place to see fireworks and go for a walk or bike ride. Food options at either end of park. Public washrooms in 3 locations. Skate rink open year round as well.

Bruce Trail is great to the Falls (70 ft/21x6 m) in the waterfall capital of the world, not far from Niagara Falls. Saved $11 by asking on a weekday at McMaster Mills Library about the free 1-day Hamilton Conservation Area pass (parking $8 maybe less at Sherman Falls lot). Exit off Rousseaux/Mohawk Rd., like ‘Mohawk Falls’, named after Six Nations-Brantford—unlike ‘Montgomery Drive’ like the Scots-Irish who settled here. The hike is short, unless taking Brantford Rail Trail. For questions send a message to dvalley @ conservationhamilton. ca

Great hiking area! Excellent views! Nice waterfall. I come here often for photo/video projects. Be careful not to slip!

Often there is a festival of some kind in the summer. Other times of the year it is good to visit for a walk or quiet afternoon.

This is the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.

    The church is beige.

The cross is at the highest!

    There are parking.

They have a lot of trees and flowers. It is nice to walk here!

    A must see!

in 1966 my 2 brothers and I discovered the grinding stone that is mounted at top of falls. is was burried under the path to the left of falls. It was tradition on good Friday to walk the Bruce trail and have a hot dog lunch at the bottom of the Falls

A great trail for biking or walking. It takes a few hours end to end and at some points you can turn off and find a place to eat or dirnk.

This farmer's market is huge, located in downtown Hamilton. There are 2 levels and is nicely decorated. There are so many vendors. The whole place is welcoming. They are only open Tue, Thu, Fri, Sun.

I think this place is better than the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. For example, the food vendors are more like restaurants and have seats for their customers.

I might do separate reviews for a few vendors.

I and my family have been buying corn here for 30 plus years. As not too many places sell truly great sweet corn this has been our destination to purchase our many dozens of corn to put down in the freezer for the seasons to come, where only it seems cattle corn is sold in the supermarkets as sweet corn. We will be sticking with Dyments thanks very much.

Not your most beautiful looking beach, but my finance and I always enjoy walking/roller-blading in this area, especially with the dog. Lots of affordable things to do such as mini-putting, beach volleyball, an average water park etc. The bugs (flies, mosquitoes) can get brutal at times, so bring bug spray!
