- nickuzhovMississauga, Canada29 contributionsIt is one of those places where visitors feel a community behind the exhibition, the dedicated people who want the place to be special and to grow and evolve all the time.
They also brought in the topic of space and its exploration, and there's a 15-minute planetarium show. It may be interesting for kids, but adults can easily skip it.
The on-site eatery is okay, but it has a great view of the nearby airport. (There's also an observation deck.)
The museum shop is huge and very theme-oriented.Written February 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Information signs were plentiful and easy to understand, made our self guided tour a great experience. Be aware, lots of climbing ladders, a few tight spaces - would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.
We went for the 79th birthday celebration, got to see the big gun fired and talked with a number of former servicemen (including one who actually served on the HMCS Haida!)
Admission cost was very reasonable - go see this one!Written August 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The view is best after a rain, which supplies water. Hamilton mountain sets on Niagara Escarpment. Behind it is a vast expanse of farm land. The collected rain water flows to the rim of escarpment and make up the many falls.

I would reccomend a couple of rainy days before I would head out next time. The observation platform has a great view. The parking was a bit expensive at $7.50 for the short time that we stayed. I bet it is beautiful with more water.Written July 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David PDover, UK69 contributionsVisited on a coolish June Monday afternoon. We enjoyed walking through time with the buildings that come from different eras, but sadly no buildings were open to visitors. But we still spent more than two hours there, including some walking on trails outside the village center.Written June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - oskeerichardHamilton, Canada21 contributionsin 1966 my 2 brothers and I discovered the grinding stone that is mounted at top of falls. is was burried under the path to the left of falls. It was tradition on good Friday to walk the Bruce trail and have a hot dog lunch at the bottom of the FallsWritten February 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - shinysycamoreToronto, Canada110 contributionsClean park, close to Toronto. Sites seem a bit small and with average privacy (we could see and hear 2 out of 3 neighbours). Online it said our site had "good" privacy but it didn't seem very private at all. Stayed in the dogwood & pines section which seems to have more trees and more of a forest feel than some of the other areas of the park. However, this section is NOT radio free and we had families with LOTS of children singing and playing music until midnight. If you are looking for a quieter camping experience perhaps look at the radio free sections. The lake seemed clean and the trails around the park are easy to walk. The bathrooms were clean and close to our site. Overall I would recommend this park for families with children as there are lots of activities for them to do. We will try to camp here again perhaps in the fall when it isn't in the peak of summer.Written July 12, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vst448Toronto, Canada132 contributionsThe museum is a small family house.Organizers could keep atmosphere of past periods, for two centuries. The guide Jarrod told us many interesting things and expressed positiveness.Definitely,he is a very knowledgeable person, who likes his job ! On of the most important thing is that there are original furniture and personal belongings of the family. It was very interesting to hear a real story of a Lady, who worked in this building as a housekeeper/cook. One day she visited this site as a member of an excursion group... :-)Written February 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brad1133Brantford, Canada111 contributionsStopped in here after hiking the Bruce trail. Victor was our guide/information portal/wine expert/ and great host. I had never heard or been to this winery.
The wines. Very good. Our group sampled both reds and whites. The knowledge that Victoria explained to us was helpful and informative. He was very friendly, easy going, and made us relaxed
I did find the wines pricey but it’s local and a small winery.
I would recommend people go for the tastings and get some local wine knowledgeWritten March 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It doesn't take long to cover the whole place so we took our time and tried to have a chat with many of the lovely birds with some responding. you see pictures of these animals but rarely come this close so the colours were very impressive. I will be back but next time in the summer so we can get a better look at the surrounding grounds. highly recommended.Written October 31, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SueD1 contributionDon is an amazing, generous person. I'm so glad the bowls made to help the wildlife in Australia were so popular. Way to go Don.

Driving up the long driveway coming in is stunning. The grounds are perfectly manicured and there are a beautiful variety of trees.
The 9 hole par 3 course offers some great challenge and the chance to improve your short game! As beginner golfers, we had a lot of fun walking the course. The clientele ranged in age and welcomed all experience levels. Was nice to see groups of female golfers and families, and not just male foursomes!
Will definitely come back to practice our putting at the 18 hole mini putt course complete with manicured greens and bunkers!Written August 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The apiary creates amazing lavender honey. (HumbleBee apiarist Luc Peters started their organic apiary - he can tell you a lot about bees if you visit while he's there.)Written October 4, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
