- TriCityDudeSaginaw, MI728 contributionsBeautiful bike ride on the riverbank, from this downtown park to Springbank Park. It’s woodsy, with views of the river from the south side the whole way (5 miles). Perfect for a Sunday afternoon ride, and while there were other people using the bikepath, it was still really nice!Written May 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JuanRobertoMidland, Canada38 contributionsMy daughter and I visited the residence early October and loved the setting and ambience offered. The tour is self guided, however the lady looking after the property was very helpful and knowledgeable about the family and the history. Her enthusiasm was warm and welcomed, with my daughter loving every minute. The detail and condition of the artefacts allow you to be transferred back in time, when the property was on the outskirts of the city, in the middle of the countryside! We absolutely loved our time at the residence and consider it a gem and a must do activity whilst in London. Hopefully the road works shadowing the property have been completed, which would improve access to and from the house.Written December 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Annette L216 contributionsCovent Garden is my favourite place in London. In the Jubilee Market you can find unique gifts and treasures. There’s lovely street entertainment and restaurants and cafes for any taste.
I grew up in New Orleans, and always loved visiting the French Quarter during the day.
Covent Garden reminds me of how vibrant the French Quarter is, but much cleaner and safer to visit.Written March 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We attended the Chistmas market and it was a fun to see the old houses decorated for the season. Great to see how things were done before machines took over.Written January 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cass8-4ULondon, Canada3,484 contributionsLocated in the very center of London, Victoria Park is truly a park for all seasons!
At this time of year, there is free ice skating. It is lit up for the Christmas season and there is a New Years Eve celebration! A fun venue for the children and there are lots of places close by to pick up a drink or a snack.

The Knights are usually pretty good team to you'll be in for an entertaining game. The team also has a large following so the place is filled and has a good atmosphere. Going in is pretty easy.. the staff is efficient with covid protocols so the line moves quickly. inside the staff is also fantastic and helpful. Food and beverage is pretty pricey as you would expect in a busy place, other OHL team arenas don't have the same following so they can't overcharge on food but this place can .. they have a neat Jack Daniels bar that is unique and has some cool offerings. The game experience is good with fun entertainment between periods. My biggest complaint with watching the game is that the PA system is terrible and you cannot hear the announcer most of the time as its muffled. But the biggest issue I had is that the popcorn is completely unedible, so if you are reading this... don't but the large popcorn as you will throw your money away. it is so salty that you cannot enjoy it. i'm sure they have received complaints about it but chose to serve it still. Other than that.. its a good experience watching the game. Beyond that.. the streets near the arena are totally sketchy, so don't plan on walking alone.Written December 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cr8MemoriesBurlington, VT279 contributionsSaw two shows at the Grand. One at the Main stage and the second at the Auburn stage ( downstairs) were both great shows.
Please note -they will not allow you to bring any food.Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Thames River flows along this park, and there is even a Kiwanis Music Park right on the park site for people to play at with the musical instruments that are set up there. How cool is that!
There are lots of nice, quiet, peaceful trails that make up this park - this is an ideal place to get your exercise done at, or even just unwind at or meet up with friends at. The park is overall well maintained and kept well clean.
Just be mindful of the numerous geese that take over this park. You therefore will want to watch your step while walking - you sure don't want to step on top of their crap!
I wish more people knew about how serene of an experience Gibbons Park provides. It truly is the best park in the city, at least in my opinion.Written July 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It cost $107 for two 11 year olds to get into the waterpark. I was not participating, jus there to make sure they didn’t drown and act like hooligans but was charged $25 to accompany them, which I think is disgusting. No parent should be charged to have access to their children when pools and water slides etc are at the location. Imagine if The Factory charged parents to come into the building.Written August 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ellen W2 contributionsWhat a wonderful place to visit, when you are in London?! I had a private tour with Terry (who rarely does tours anymore) and she provided 1.5 hours of knowledge, interest and engagement. You'll learn so much and truly appreciate more about the care for people with diabetes. Make sure you take time to sit on the bed of Dr. Banting where he woke up with his "aha" moment.Written January 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary Stuart MToronto, Canada19 contributionsAnother great music night was had at The Aeolian Hall -with friends - Jan 31st.
Price is always good. This time only $28 a head (booked in advance). Saw Aurora-a Barcelona 5 person ensemble -all youthful- an innovative Flamenco dancer/clapper, a Gypsy Kings-like singer/wailer, excellent drummer and pianist and a bassman who played his instrument like a lead guitar at times. AWESOME jazz-infused flamenco.
But it Doesn’t really matter what you book to see at The Aeolian Hall, run as a non-profit and mostly by volunteers, it is a joy to listen to all types of music in.Written March 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The campus is absolutely beautiful and is very safe, secure, well-maintained, and historic. The buildings part of Western definitely tell a story about the rich history of the school.Written February 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
