- Mike5 contributionsThis is the first thing you see when exiting Ripley’s. The process is deceiving. The price menu say $10 for a hand. Seemed reasonable. But all they do is dip your hand in white wax (colours extra) which leaves you with a very thin, fatter version of your hand. It costs more to make it solid enough to take home, costs more to smooth the rough edges, costs more for decorations, colour, polishing etc. after they suck you dry for almost mandatory upgrades, they charge to put it in a cheap box. Nice people but I have no respect for cheap tricks. They have product you just cannot find anywhere else and the shop keeper is so full of knowledge on all the cigars and products that they sell. To boot, I seriously have not received customer service this good, in years. - Hazel PToronto, Canada67 contributionsThis is located in the casino building just to the left side of the casino entrance. Their chocolates are soooo delicious. We got several to try. In the boxes there's a deal if you get 3. So we got the cranberry white chocolate, the cashew cluster & almond bark. I really like the cashew cluster. Pretty addictive.
We also got the smores, a Tommy (pecan with caramel, like Turtles but much better tasting), a polar bear, & a Timmy (dark chocolate with caramel). The smores was so yummy! I liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Sometimes with junk food chocolate all you can taste is the sugar. This is good stuff. We like it so much my hubby called & asked if they would ship to us. Turns out they used to be a franchise but the owner closed the other franchises down. I don't know why! The prices here are reasonable too. I like Soma chocolate which is really good but it's so expensive. If their shipping charge isn't ridiculous I don't mind supporting this store. My mouth is watering just thinking of the smores.
The clerk who was helping fill the orders & cash people out was super nice too. They are open pretty late for a fudge/chocolate place. I took my grandmother on her long-time bucket list trip to Niagara Falls and stopped here after seeing this page. Though we're of course not a couple, I purchased an engraved lock on Etsy in advance to let her leave her mark on the city and to express my love and appreciation for her.
It can be hard to figure out how to access with just the address.
One way to access the bridge, especially if you're trying to limit your walking, is from the Table Rock Welcome Center parking lot and riding the Falls Incline Railway up. The lock bridge is at the top to the left.
Apparently, if you're staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview hotels, the bridge connects to the back area of it.
