#teamjessica! My first review, I think, and well-earned. A huge day, every minute well accounted for and worth the (substantial, from NZ) travel and coin. Jessica was clearly loved by the locals as much as her #team de la jour, which says a lot about her. :) Endlessly patient and full of care for us, and a fun(ny) library of fascinating and insightful knowledge about her home territory, Jessica was awesome. She was committed to her flock (including us solo travellers), passionate about her work, and consistently and conscientiously engaging and human. Brilliant day with a great group of people for a bunch of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, back to back. Thank you so much!
Hot tips:
- The people who brought waterproof shoes and extra socks were rightfully congratulated by the rest of us for their foresight. I had the best time wearing bare feet on the Hurricane deck, but I get that that’s not for everyone. Also, if you’re tossing up between denim and something else, go with the something else.
- Prep for a big day. Sleep first. Bring water, layers, sunblock, and sunnies and/or a hat (on a nice day). Caffeinate first, if that’s your thing. It wasn’t horrifically arduous, though. The tour was an accessible great day out for our diverse troupe, and there was lots of choice along the way that catered to various needs and preferences.
- The lunch portions are big. The poutine is legit. There’s a maple syrup tasting bar. Do the Canadian things. The maple beer is delish, but might make you post-big-lunch sleepy on the bus on a hot day. More caffeine will be available at your last stop.
- Write a review. It’s a nice way to reflect on an exceptional day, after the fireworks. :)
Thanks team, and Jessica especially! Such a brilliant way to see an awesome natural spectacle from all angles. Bucket list stuff. Thank you.
