- brunette1208Niagara Falls, Ontario27 contributionsThe facilities are kept very clean, no shoes; socks only. Makes sense considering it is an indoor play area for children; from infants to pre-teens. The majority of the area is carpet, the area for adults to sit is concrete with plastic benches.
I held my daughters birthday here, the children loved it; it is after all, about the children.
I paid $250.00 plus applicable taxes for two (2) hours. I was expecting to be able to come in earlier to set up for 36 guests. I was given 15 minutes, then guests started to arrive, I was still setting up because I did not have enough time. I was responsible for catering, decorations, plates, utensils, tablecloths etc. 15 minutes was not enough time.
By the time I finished setting up, I was half an hour into the party only 1.5 hours remained), and I still haven't greeted my guests appropriately.
My grandmother arrived; heart attack surviver, severe emphysema, and vertigo. She is very old, and was unable to take her shoes off. She was told to remain at the front doors for the party, while everyone else was across the room. Luckily after much debate, she was finally allowed to walk 15 steps to the guest area. I was a little disappointed. I understand the no shoe rule, but she wasn't going to walk across the play area with shoes, just in front of the customer service counter where no kids play.
I do not agree with the seating of plastic benches on exposed concrete floors (basement facility). Four children, including my daughter slipped off of the benches and fell onto the floor. 2 of which including my daughter, hit there head on the concrete. I would recommend cork, or carpet. She developed a minor bump because of it. She ok, along with the other girls.
I had 15 minutes left of the 2 hours I paid for, and I was told to start cleaning up. In total, I spent an hour with my daughter for her birthday because of set up and take down. If I could make a suggestion, extra time granted for set up and take down (outside of the hours paid) would be beneficial for the hosts, to allow them time to socialize and play with the kids.
I paid 300 for the party. The facility was very clean, nicely organized, The kids had fun, all their bellies were full; unfortunately I will not be returning because of the aforementioned reasons.Written March 15, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a little hidden gem if you are in niagara falls and I found it when I first moved here Summer 2019 on Google maps. Decided to check it out and ended up going almost every day . Everybody liked it young or old and me also.
There is a playground as well.
I will always remember these beautiful flowers
