- TravelozzyBicester, UK1,091 contributionsThis make the falls seem all the more powerful and awe inspiring - a journey via lifts into large tunnels that give access to get about half way along the horse shoe falls. You’ll understand the roar, the volume of water and the sheer power generated by the natural wonder.
Definitely worth it especially on a bad weather day like we had.Written January 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The restaurant is over priced, but you can purchase tickets for the observation tower only and enjoy all the surrounding views.Written July 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick C18 contributionsSo many beautiful butterflies fluttering by and around you. It was an awesome experience just watching these simple creatures either fly about or sit perfectly still.Written January 7, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - A.M111 contributionsWe enjoyed this more than seeing the actual falls. It's a nice stroll along the water with a few photo ops. We went in the morning and that the whole thing to ourselves, which definitely helped make our visit great.Written February 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert E1 contributionThis is a fun spot to just bebop around and relax. It’s a tourist area so expect higher prices but it has great view of the falls, decent food spots, and an all around quirky feel. Good for families, couples, etc…you get what you put into it, go hang out with an open mind and enjoy yourself.Written January 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jrzj42Ellicott City, MD1,729 contributionsA little larger than your typical Ferris Wheel. This one has enclosed capsules that seat 4 adults, has A/C, and provides decent views of Niagara Falls. Lines can be long at times, so I waited for no lines at the ticket office, yet still spent about 20 minutes waiting to get on the ride.Written July 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tammyBaltimore_MdBaltimore, MD4,407 contributionsJust beautiful & magnificent views especially with the multitude rainbows when the sun hits the spray of the falls.
The Best place to visit within USA & Canada especially if you love waterfallsWritten October 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - sanju_222323New Jersey17,974 contributionsWhen you’re in Niagara Falls you will probably see the Rainbow Bridge. It’s not a multicoloured bridge, but a pedestrian and vehicle bridge that connects Canada and the US.
This is a legal border crossing and you’ll have to go through customs in the US and Canada. You’ll need to have your passport (and any visas you might need for each country). Crossing as a pedestrian from NY to Canada is free and the reverse route costs $1 but make sure you have cash; there is a machine to get the change from if needed.
Rainbow Bridge is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Typically, there are no delays in crossing on foot but traffic can impact delays crossing via car; especially during the holidays.
The Rainbow Bridge is also great for viewing the Falls & Friday night fireworks.Written November 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was interesting to have the birds flying around you, although my daughter did get popped on. 🤣 There is also an interesting museum at the beginning on the history Niagara.Written July 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IrishRoverPittsburgh, PA3,273 contributionsIt’s a fun little ride above the whirlpool on the cable car. Was it worth the 1.5 off waiting in the que maybe not. Unique views that you can’t get from the gorge walls but you can hike down from the USA side which might be a better use of the timeWritten September 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cal BToronto, Canada2 contributionsUnfortunately, not a perfect 5/5, but damn near that mark. Only thing to complain about was the fact that the lines were too long. But don't let that ruin your experience, cause if you go in January like I did, then you still get to see some pretty nifty views of Niagara Falls and the snowfall outside. Went with friends. Last I was here was 2016, so it's nice to see that it hasn't lost its charm. Only other thing I didn't like was that the windows near the cabanas were completely fogged over. I don't know what I expected during winter next to a waterfall though lol. Food was good too so that more than made up for it.Written November 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gary RNew York City, NY8 contributionsGreat place to start your Niagara Falls experience. Convenient parking and offers various eating options.
