The ambience for the tasting could be way better and cleaner, but the service was really good. We were with 2 kids and they gave them a tasting of sparkling juice! It was really great to have the kids "enjoying the tasting" with us!

Four of us went to Gretzky on Saturday to do some tastings. We all have varying tastes so the options at Gretzky were PERFECT for us, sampling wine, beer, grape spirits and whiskey. Gabriela was our server - very attentive and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tastings in comfy chairs and then moved to enjoy a beer and an adult juice box out in the Beer Garden. It was a gorgeous setting and rounded out a great day. Can't wait to go back!

We stopped in for a wine tasting at Reif and we and we are so happy we did. Tyler was our host during our tasting. He was very knowledgeable about the vineyard and all things wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting. Tyler was great, we will definitely be back on our future trips!

I visited the Niagara-on-the-Lake Heritage District for 4 hours in April 2022. I parked my car in a parking lot near the center of town for $14 CAD. I walked up and down Queen Street. All the shops and restaurants were open and it was fairly busy. Some people were wearing masks and some people were not. I had lunch and went into an ice cream place. I went shopping in a bookstore and bought a book on the history of Canada. I also walked to see the Shaw Festival Theater and to the lake. There was a gazebo and a nice view of the lake. Later I drove to visit Fort George (separate review). I enjoyed my time in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I took the QEW from Niagara Falls and then drove on the local roads. I was later told on the TA Forum that taking the Niagara Parkway is a better way to drive from Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake. I look forward to my next visit to NOTL.

That was an amazing experience. Harry, our tour guide on that day was excellent. He is a great entertainer. My whole family enjoyed it eventhough my husband & my daughter only drink non-alcohol & they provided it. Lots of photo ops, wine is superb. The staff at welcome center are friendly & hospitable. The store manager has an excellent customer service. It is worth & recommendable.

Our last stop on our tour was at this wonderful winery. I’ve visited here before and the wines are very good. My friend arranged a bubbly tasting for my daughter as this was her first experience wine tasting and she loves bubbly.

It was excellent. The pairings with popcorn was fun and something I’ve never seen before. An excellent end to a wonderful day!

In my opinion this is by far one of the best wineries in the Niagara region. The wine at the Hare is extremely good, the service is incredible and the atmosphere is amazing!! Obe of the nice parts is that when you do a tasting, love the wine, you can afford to make a purchase. Their wine is very well priced. Maureen was so knowledgeable and enjoyed her company, in doing our tasting. The owner-John came over and was very friendly and very interesting. We will never come to the Niagara region without stopping in at The Hare, it's an absolute gem!!!!!

The festival theatre is very nice and well maintained. We visited to see the Holiday inn during the christmas season. Enjoyed the show - it was very good. The performances were very good and made for an enjoyable evening.
    Would definitely visit again.

The demonstrations - muskets and music. This along with the period uniforms brought history to life.

We arrived without an appt after a very long drive, I suppose we were lucky as it was late afternoon Sunday.

Sean guided our tasting, it was very nice to hear about the family history and the meaningful labels. The wines are delicious! We ended up buying a lot of wine!

    Thank you!

We visited Inniskillin Winery near Niagara on the Lake on our trip to Niagara Falls. It was a 20-minute drive from the downtown area. It was a beautiful drive with lots of vineyards and wineries. We were interested in trying their Ice Wines. We got there about 11:30 just after they opened.

We were greeted by Sylvie who took good care of us as we tried 3 wonderful ice wines after a tasting. She was a joy to talk with about the history of the company and a great knowledge of the wines. Jim & Julie/Michigan

    Hey folks!

Wow, back on Trip Advisor after a two year "hiatus"! It's so nice to be back here and posting vacation information again.

Yesterday, we visited the Outlet Collection at Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. For those not familiar with this area, it's right at the Ontario/New York border in southern Ontario. It's Ontario's wine region and it's absolutely lovely.

The outlet mall is about 10, 15 min from Niagara Falls and the border. It's easily accessible by highway and if you're on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) you cannot miss it.

There is TONS (yes, TONS) of parking. But do get there early. Stores open at 10 a.m. and this place is quite popular and busy.

There is a hotel right across the street from the mall ... The White Oaks Resort and Spa. It's beautiful! And it's always busy too. If you're coming from out of town, book a room there for convenience and just walk across the street, through the parking lot and you're in shopping heaven.

There are over 100 stores and shops there. Saks Off 5th, Coach, Victoria Secret, American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), Marshall's, Lucky Brand Jeans, Bath and Body Works, Bass Pro Shop, Lindt Chocolates, The Body Shop, Pandora ... pretty much something for everyone. Most of the stores had sales, and I grabbed some stuff at AEO for 40% off.

Have to also mention that the staff in ALL the stores were super friendly and helpful.

You'll need about 2 - 3 hours to go through the whole mall. It's an outdoor mall, but walkways are covered so you won't get wet if it's raining.

Okay, that said, there are a couple of things that can be improved, and this doesn't in any way deter from the overall experience .. it's a lovely place to shop, but nothing is perfect and the following two points are just my two cents worth:

    1. MORE SEATING! They do have some outdoor seating scattered about, but not nearly enough. A lot of seniors and folks with mobility issues were shopping yesterday and I felt so badly for them. There just wasn't enough seating. NOTE FOR MALL MANAGEMENT: Invest in more benches outside the stores and around the mall in general. PLEASE. Think about those who really need to take a break physically.

    2. MORE FOOD OPTIONS! They have a couple of food options now - a burger place and a Tim Horton's for example. But what this mall could use is a couple of sit down, dine in, licensed restaurants. NOTE FOR MALL MANAGEMENT: Consider some dine-in options in or near the mall. A lot of families would no doubt appreciate it.

Okay, that's it. If you go, you will have a wonderful time! Enjoy your shopping experience in Ontario's gorgeous Niagara Region.

Any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

We've been riding our bikes on this trail for quite some time now and we love it. The path is never the same - rolls down, slight inclines, nice turns, scenic views and nature all around. You can even do your own winery tours, vegetable and fruit stand shops abound on the weekends as well.
