- SouthFloridaPamCoral Springs, FL122 contributionsWe dropped in today after bicycling the area for hours and just lived the ambience! We also did the signature beer flight…all were very good and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pretzel bites along with our flight. The service was friendly, and we’d happily return!Written October 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wayne BOttawa, Canada21 contributionsMy wife and I visited Niagara on the Lake in September, 2024 and having had Big Head wines in the past they were first on my list of wineries to visit. First thing to mention is that their new tasting room is beautiful.
I did their three wine flight standing at the bar and was lucky enough to be served by the owner and wine maker Andrei. Very nice personable man, he described the winemaking technique to me, and also talked about the state of their business and their plans going forward. I had three of their appassimento style reds, and Andrei gave me a bonus pour of a fourth — the 2023 Syrah. I enjoyed all four and am planning to purchase them all online.
Also we had dinner at one of the nice restaurants in NotL that evening and my wife ordered a glass of their Chenin Blanc which she really enjoyed.

We found the wine outstanding enough to carry some bottles home to California. Pinot Noir, Merlo, Dolcetto were our favorites all 2021 vintages.Written September 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 120smoSan Antonio, TX20 contributionsWhat a wonderful product line It is wonderful to walk and browse, but take a few extra minutes to talk to staff and learn about the oils and blends. I have been using herbs, oils, and scents for years and still learned so much!Written October 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PhotoDudeIIIToronto, Canada129 contributionsTucked away in the corner of the village of Queenston is a small but very interesting museum. The purpose of the museum is two-fold: a history of William Lyon Mackenzie, who published his anti-establishment newspaper here for a short time before moving to Toronto (and getting into lots of trouble), and the history of printing press. Both are dealt with well. The history of the printing press, with vintage machines, is demonstrated up to the modern age. The tour guide gives a detailed account of how they worked, and the changes in technology that allowed going from 200 copies to 200,000 copies or more. It gives you an appreciation on how hard it was to produce something we take for granted. If you're into historical museums, this won't disappoint.Written August 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arlene SBarrie, Canada44 contributionsThis small-ish winery is a hidden gem in the NOTL area. We are so happy a server recommended it. I liked every single wine I tasted; so many great ones to choose from and reasonably priced. They have some great specials for their tasting experiences. It’s lovely to sit under their huge shade tree and relax while sipping their tasty wines.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A three-generational art exhibit on display, curated by the Ottawa Art Gallery, and beautifully done. There is is also an interesting library in the lower level and a nice view of the river from the backyard. The staff was enthusiastic and friendly. We enjoyed our time there.Written May 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- L_in_FishersFishers, IN53 contributionsWe visited Icellar in 2017 the first year the tasting room was open. We loved the wine and the story at this winery. Now both sons and the owner’s wife work in the operation. The tasting space is still utilitarian just like we like it. All the resources are plowed into making the finest big reds in the area. Try and BUY the very limited Red Velvet. Dogs Lulu and Ruby will greet you and sit at your feet while you sip.Written October 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
