I live on the outskirts of the old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, so obviously I am a little biased.

Having said that, the old town is stunning. When my husband and I want to "get away" for a couple of hours, we hop in the car, drive 15 minutes and then wander around the streets. We look in shop windows (and sometimes stop to buy), we look at the old houses, we spend time on the small beach overlooking Lake Ontario and Fort Niagara, NY.

The town takes great pride in its landscaping and any time of year is a great time to visit.

For my 1000th review, this could have not been a more pleasurable experience. The main theatre is beautiful with comfy seats. Acoustics and site lines are very good. We saw 1 Man Two Guvnors. Extremely funny and well acted. Enjoyed the audience participation, the Musical interludes and the off script comments. We must definitely return. What a great value.

This place can be kind of confusing...lots of trails criss-cross...lots of walking trails in the area. You can walk for miles! It was a gorgeous day but I had another destination to get to....I HIGHLY recommend this area!

Foe the last 34 years a group of us have toured niagara wineries. While the group is smaller we still get together as friends and celebrate others.

Today we went to Hare Winery, what a great spot. Lovely wines and back story to explore. We enjoyed our tastings and then came back for lunch. The owner John Hare, shared some of the wineries history.

A nice thin crust pizza for lunch. Wines for every taste. Thank you Anna, Sonja, Natalie and John for an amazing winery experience.

The first stop on our recent day trip to NOTL was the best. We've had been here a few times previously, but we wanted to introduce our friends to Colaneri. Brian was a wonderful host and he spent a good amount of time explaining the history of the winery, the various family members, their ties to the winery and the wines that are named for their particular interests and/or attributes.
Also, my wife loves their Cabernet Sauvignon, and since they don't ship to the U.S. we wanted to pick up a case while we were up there. Alas, it's a very popular wine and they had no more stock. It won't be available again until Christmas. Looks like we'll have to make another trip!

What a wonderful surprise to walk down King Street and see this beautiful park. We walked along the trails and just enjoyed the peaceful view of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario--we could even see the outlines of the Toronto skyscrapers in the horizon.

Ryerson Park is a beautiful scenic stop while walking alongside the shores of Lake Ontario. We got to watch sailboats pass by. You feel the wind coming off the lake, so dress warmly! It's a lovely time to slow down and enjoy the view.

This was a fantastic experience! There was 4 of us on the ride (couples) and the host was very patient with us as 2 in the group had never rode horses before. The horses were beautiful.
A full 2 hours ride in the woods.

I fully recommend this if in Canada.

My sister and I had a relaxing time at the spa. She had a prenatal massage and I had the relaxing body scrub. Both of us enjoyed ourselves and would return.

I’ve been using their hand sanitizer for the past 2 years and it’s the best I’ve ever used.

Everytime I come to NOTL I stock up for me and my loved ones plus extra goodies like the teas and chocolates.

Their shop next door with ice cream and popsicles are great because it’s natural delicious flavours.

This time I wasn’t able to physically go into the store so I ordered my sanitizers and had them delivered to the hotel I was staying at in the area. They offer free delivery in the niagara region which I found to be absolutely wonderful as I was crunched for time on this trip.

The customer service is amazing and friendly. The owner absolutely lovely.

Please support and shop local you won’t regret it especially their hand sanitizers because they are very moisturizing and smell great too.

My favs are Orange Blossom Peach and Lavender.
