Not content with their own theatre, Ottawa’s first gastropub and an emporium for olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Hintonburg now has its very own pottery shop. Not only is there an impressive collection of craft pottery for sale, but one can also watch it being made or even participate in a class oneself. Not sure about the ceramic bath? Was it something made on site? Or an invitation to all those attending a class to cleanse their bodies from clay? - Olivera NOttawa, Canada1 contributionSeveral of my cousins and family members have participated in Nancy’s Sushi class and we have enjoyed it very much. All the organizational arrangements were very clear although we had twelve people total. Nancy is everything you could wish for in a teacher: skilled, professional, encouraging and at the same time great fun. Her teaching style is very clear and easy to follow.
She delivers the course systematically and is always ready to respond any questions about the steps. I highly recommend her to anyone who is the beginner or even advanced in Chinese cooking.
We had a great time and enjoyed the teacher!

- Laura CLas Vegas, NV52 contributionsI registered my 8 year old daughter for the 7 week Saturday program. It was great! Well priced for the amount of effort and items the kids make. Each week, they would make a new pottery item, with instruction from the young instructor. My daughter really liked it. Very relaxed, calm atmosphere. - Amelia3 contributionsWe went on a date at Vittorio’s and it was a wonderful experience. We learned about the ingredients that goes into making the pizza, the tools to use, and the technique for making and shaping the dough. It was great to actually make the pizza. The pizza tasted amazing. Vittorio is super nice and the conversation was great and entertaining. He made panna cotta for dessert, and he was by far the best dessert we’ve had in a long time. - sophienicholas1 contributionI attended a class just recently and absolutely loved it! It was exactly what I expected and more! I wanted to see what it was like to swim like a mermaid , the class allows you to try on a fabric mermaid tail which also has a monofin to allow you to swim in the water. I'm a pretty strong swimmer so it didn't take me too long to get used to it, it was also a pretty good ab workout. My childhood dream might become my grown up hobby! I'm looking forward to buying my first tail soon!

The experience has always been educational, entertaining, delicious and wrapped in a healty dose of humour. Chef George is clearly passionate about his art and this translates in his teaching. - Johanna G1 contributionI had a wonderful time with Boreal River Adventures! These people make an effort to memorize your name from the get go, are able to deal with all levels in and around the water, break down the skill into very clear steps, and keep everyone safe throughout!
That day, I felt I was back at the most fun summer camp ever! I learned, I laughed, I played all day!
Their passion is very contagious and I am looking forward to the next courses in the near future!
