- Relax014397350813 contributionsWe saw Wendy and Peter Pan and La Cage Aux Folles. They were both excellent (both were held over because of their popularity). We'll be back!Written October 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- disgustorama166 contributionsHere for a sneak preview of “Bad Shabbos”: this old, charming theater made a wonderful venue for the event. Friendly and professional staff and beautiful ambiance. The movie was absolutely great! A fast paced comedy which got recognition at the Tribeca Film Festival. Fabulous cast and clever writing. We enjoyed a Q and A with the director ( Daniel Robbins) and one of the actors ( John Bedford Lloyd). Don’t miss this wonderful limited engagement in the next few days: starts Friday.Written March 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NeilP451Caledon, Canada241 contributionsThis museum concentrates mostly on the economic history of Stratford and all about the Grand Trunk Railway and the locomotive repair shops. The early history of the Festival and a couple of smaller exhibits rounded out the museum. It is a little way out of town but not a long trip.Written September 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - L FSydney, Australia82 contributionsThis hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the train station. Despite this, it is in a nice area, but still lots of pedestrians, so the street noise can be heard from some rooms. Keeping the windows closed allows you to sleep well.
Our room was modern but fairly small, but we did have a kettle and fridge. We enjoyed the modern bathroom and bathtub. The included breakfast was a simple continental type. The staff at the hotel were very nice and kept our bags until we could check in. - Scott J35 contributionsThe gallery always has something interesting and unusual, they sometimes have static art on canvas but as likely it will be an installation, a visual media piece, textile art or something you never saw before. In each case there three rooms will each have a theme, usually the work of one artist and it is always worth the trip. I especially was touched by the lake with fall trees a couple years ago, a cdock and stepping stones in a real lake with trees painted in briliant acrliyc. It was so peaceful and beautiful.
It is a free museum, but they live on donations so be decent and leave them a few bucks.Written October 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
