The way I see Toronto: A mini version of Manhattan, smaller buildings but cleaner and safe. Excellent food( DO NOT MISS THE St Lawrence Market) . Casa Loma ( go to the underground area, in my opinion the best way to experience the place and much more fun than the upstairs living quarters).
For hockey fun’s as me the Hockey Hall of Fame is a must. The Hop on Hop off bus is a great way to learn about the city and get to those places. Toronto doesn’t disappoint.

Coming from UK we just don't have these type of jazz/ blues dive bars and it was an awesome experience. We just rocked up on the night and paid 15 Cad entrance fee .. all of the tables were taken so stood at the bar .. The first thing you get is this incredible jazz vibe ..Everyone there was obviously having a great time. The band were sensational..the cocktails even better .. It was a pleasure to be there . Just brilliant. !! Highly recommended.. Bring your dancing shoes. !

Popped in for tail end of one set and first part of last set. Intimate venue - but with sime restricted views if sitting in the back. Cover charge is higher for front part of room, was $10 in the back. Good drink selection, and they just put the cover charge on your bill, which is convenient. Quality band and was very enjoyable. Some groups there more to talk though so be prepared for that.

When we arrived late on a Friday we were entertained by a couple of drag queens lip syncing - one at a time. The first was very fishy and the second one really looked like a man with bad make up.

Then the best ass contest started. Audience members were encouraged to come up on stage and moon the audience; a prize being awarded to the best ass.

The vibe was super-friendly and peaceful yet exuberant.

Woody's is located on a small section of Church street where the LGBTQ community gathers to party - and drag is everywhere. There's another drag bar across the street but it's much more of a dive bar.

If for no other reason, go - just to witness this piece of drag herstory.

I was visiting Toronto on a business trip this week and had to swing into one of my favourites. Staff was hospitable some more friendlier then others, service was great. You can tell that the employees all cared about the room and their regulars. Even though the front room is tiny and had a live band the sound was on point, meaning I could still have a drink and socialize without screaming. The back room is cozy and offers a break from the live music and classic pinball and old school movies on the televisions. Their heated upstairs patio Tiki bar seems like a fun summer hangout spot, it was a bit chilly when we visited so we didn’t stay on the deck very long. All in all fantastic dive bar! Will return!

This bar is a great place to get beers and listen to local bands. Definitely get there early if you want a place to sit or if you want to get a spot near the stage.

Fabulous atmosphere - feels like you are in a latino club back in the 50's with dinner and dancing. Waiting for Ricky Ricardo to show up...... The food was extremely good. (Jerk chicken was yummy but pretty spicy, calamari were perfect, crab cake was delicious and desserts were a hit at our table. 8 people all enjoyed their meal. Salsa dance lesson was great. DJ music was fun; the 12 pc band was FANTASTIC! Dance floor very crowded. Would be nicer to have a bit of room to dance. All in all, a very fun, entertaining evening. Waiters Julio and Lulu were both terrific! Mostly filled with under 40 year olds, but any age fit in.

Came for the beer with hopes that the food was decent. Very welcoming staff with amazing food including brunch and kids menu. My 8yo had a great time in the father's day drawing contest. We even bought her a blood brothers T! From pittsburgh with love

We LOVED our experience at Yuk Yuks. The host and all four comedians (with Kyle Hickey as the headliner) were great.

The only issue we had is that the seats were very uncomfortable. That being said we look forward to our next visit.

I came in for a love of cigars, and understanding the art of smoking well. A complete novice, both Fauzi (sp) and Freddie (son) have been so patient and kind to me. I originally came in distraught, with a Humidor I purchased elsewhere, and they did not take the slightest offense. What did they care about?

    1) How best can I enjoy cigars, the right way, including storage and aftercare of my Humidor
    2) Imparting knowledge, with humour and wit
3)Incredible customer service, and they treat everyone with courtesy and respect (a lost art in this business)

Look no further, shop no where else but Casa De Fuma, you will not be disappointed.

Pro Tip; park in the Loblaws (buy a beer, or some groceries) and then hop skip south to peruse.

Thanks again to Freddie and the Casa de Fuma family, for making me feel like "La Familia"

    Cheers,

With witty pirates and a stunning view of the Toronto skyline at sunset, this unforgettable journey is full of laughs.
Once you step onto the pirate ship, you're in for a real treat. The crew, a talented bunch of improv actors, are outstanding. They keep the energy high and the laughter going when you're sailing across Lake Ontario.

The pirate ship itself is impressive. They've paid attention to every detail, making you feel like you're in a real pirate adventure. The crew's outfits, the ship's design, and the whole atmosphere make the experience feel authentic and exciting. It's an adventure that lets everyone get involved and have a great time. It's a treasure (get it?) of an adventure!

The glory days of leather bars are over sadly, but this place does a great job of providing a men's space for the 21st century, without the dress code requirements. The Sunday afternoon "underwear party" seemed to welcome any kind of dress code from nothing at all to no effort at all, but the atmosphere was fun on the terrace.

We went back for the T dance at 11pm, which featured disco hits from the 80s and 90s and a bunch of blokes living it up on the dance floor like it was 1999. Plenty of action in the dark room later on as well and a good rage of ages represented. Recommended for a visit.
