    Fun place to visit
    Fun place to visit. I was in Toronto in December 2022, so I decided to check out this market. Although there were more people than I expected (which made me feel more crowded), the atmosphere was lively and there were full of activities.

    Very nice food, coffee, shopping, you name it…
    I’ve not been to the Big Carrot in almost a decade it seems but it’s just like I recall and of course more expensive too. Quality was always tops and service in all venues very good. Glad to see it hasn’t changed much.

    Fun Outdoor Space
    Stackt is an outdoor market filled with small shops, food, drinks and fun! The entire facility is designed from shipping containers. Their aim is to support local art, music, & cultural communities. It has many cool and colourful installations for photos, as well as games such as the bean bag toss.

    Within the market I tried a taco food truck called Kong’s Hot Tacos🦍:

    The tacos I tried were:
    🌮🌱Impossible Teriyaki
    🌮🐔General Tso
    🌮🐷The Island

    I’ve been to stackt a few time and the last time I was there during the evening. There ended up being a fun outdoor reggae party with a live DJ. If a DJ isn’t there, upbeat music usually is playing throughout the space. It’s a nice area for socializing with friends.

    They open on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am. We got there at 10:15 and only a few stores were open in the flea market. The produce area at the front was very busy. I didn’t like that it was similar to a supermarket. Many things you pay by the pound and there was a long lineup of people waiting to pay. I prefer more of a farmers market where the produce comes in baskets and you pay by the basket and the seller is near their produce. At 10:45 am still about 35-40% of the vendors were closed. We were very disappointed and it discouraged us from buying anything or staying.

    Game hunting with a friend
    So I been to keeble flea market and downs view and dr flea market I was hoping this place was good but instead its average like they have a lot of clothes stuff. One vendor selling video games and there was a place of food and it's a really small flea market. I would say If your in the area on a. Saturday or Sunday sure have a look but honestly I dont think you would find much unless your looking for jewelry that section is the biggest in this place and every other vendor is average.
