- Leslie AToronto, Canada2 contributionsWe made some amazing tasty chocolate treats - truffles, chocolate medallions and a bar of chocolate with ingredients of our own choice.Written September 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - InjiToronto, Canada4 contributionsThis was a fun and special experience. Various activities with different kinds of chocolates and this kept us entertained, interested, and we learned a lot. I would definitley recommend it for others looking for a unique experience. You also go home with lots of delicious goodies.Written November 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Escape249694196581 contributionOur team of 19 attended The Chef Upstairs "Iron Chef Challenge" in Oct '23. Chef Pierre's guidance was impeccable and we had the opportunity to prepare and eat a ton of delicious food! We all had a great time and even got to help to make the bananas flambé - so cool! Would definitely recommend as a team-building event - much better than just sitting around a table having dinner at a restaurant. Thanks for the fun!Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We did the “Hands on - Cooking with Craft Beer” course. Chef Erin, her assistant and all the other team members, were professional, friendly and on point.
Super fun hands on learning experience! All while you meet new people and enjoy a delicious, gourmet meal at the end of the evening.
The facilities are top notch- gleaming kitchen equipment, a bar area, a joint cafe/merchandise counter area.
The location is easy to find - allow yourself extra time to get there on account of the traffic.Written June 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Don TAtlanta, GA11 contributionsThe FOOD

Magnificently planned evening with a fantastic menu along with a guided tour of St Lawrence Market. Each and every staff member made us feel at home. it was a wonderful dinner party with about 60 people. Learned some new facts about the history of the Market and Toronto. Highly recommended.Written February 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rustam JToronto, Canada11 contributionsWhen my wife suggested that we should do this cooking class with The Spice Lab I was a bit anxious because I dislike cooking but it was a blast! I'm literally terrified about the idea of having to cook for anyone besides myself but first thing that I noticed when arriving at The Spice Lab was how welcoming Aliya is and how she immediately put me at ease. There were students there that were much more experienced than I (since I've only begun to start cooking) but nevertheless Aliya was able to explain the basics to me while interacting with the others at their respective levels of ability. She carefully described the ingredients for each of the dishes we prepared and let us all participate in the preparation, assembly, cooking and plating of each dish. Even the garnishes were carefully selected and explained to us. And the food was excellent - felt like I was at Michelin rated thai restaurant! No joke. I would highly recommend this class for chefs of all levels of ability. I will definitely be back!Written November 25, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robin FToronto, Canada6 contributionsWe went for a cooking class with four of our adult children and had such a wonderful time! Not only did each of us learn something valuable about cooking and prep technique but we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal that followed. The recipes were simple but excellent, Karen and MC helped us through the process and it was great bonding time. We’d highly recommend it for friends, family or coworkers.Written February 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WorldwatcherToronto, Canada1,171 contributionsThis is a modern, beautifully equipped boutique cooking school. It is ideal for small groups and also for children's parties. There is plenty of parking in the immediate area. The staff are professional and pleasant. Alexandra , a recent George Brown graduate does a really excellent job.Written August 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
