- AnnaK88881 contributionI bought one of the new students' specials, which is always a big plus since it allows you to try out various classes and teachers without it being hard on your wallet. The space is cozy and intimate, but not packed. I felt I was getting all the needed attention and adjustments from the instructors, with more than enough space to move around. I mention this bc I have practiced in studios where you severely restrict your motion from how closely packed the mats are. This is exactly what I needed at this time to compliment my home practice. The instructors are knowledgable and figure out ways to appropriately challenge you, and the studio offers workshops with ashtanga masters. Glad this place is around the corner from my work!Written October 11, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stacey HToronto, Canada10 contributionsI recently moved into the area and joined BeHot. The studio is conveniently-located near the St. Lawrence Market and offers a variety of Vinyasa and Bikram style classes.
Pros: The pricing is competitive, there is a good selection of later evening classes for days when I work late and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Teachers are knowledgeable and offer modifications for more/less advanced practitioners. The main room is spacious and has sticker markers on the floor to maximize mat space. Mats are close together (approx. 6 inches), but it doesn't feel cramped. They have recently rearranged the small "be" room to make better use of the space.
Cons: Not many! The change rooms and locker area are cramped. I wish that mat storage was included in their yearly membership, but otherwise it's a very solid studio.Written August 8, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I'm not a hot yoga fan, and this was not at the same degree as a regular hot yoga class, but it was too hot for me. The instructor was good, although a little fast. She serviced the class very well, making sure all were on task, and making good coverage of the room. This class pushed me, certainly much tougher than I'm used to at home. I would return if the opportunity arose.Written March 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Carolyn I21 contributionsAfter taking a ‘calming ‘ Sunday afternoon class and signing up way in advance I was disappointed to see more than 40 people in this class. Instructor was an amateur and the establishment refused to refund my money. Just NO.Written February 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
