    Experience was amazing.
Chicken was a bit dry and I wished we had a sauce to dip it in. Other than that we loved every moment.

The way I see Toronto: A mini version of Manhattan, smaller buildings but cleaner and safe. Excellent food( DO NOT MISS THE St Lawrence Market) . Casa Loma ( go to the underground area, in my opinion the best way to experience the place and much more fun than the upstairs living quarters).
For hockey fun’s as me the Hockey Hall of Fame is a must. The Hop on Hop off bus is a great way to learn about the city and get to those places. Toronto doesn’t disappoint.

HIghly recommended for families. We took our 5-year old grandson and we all enjoyed it. The actors brought humour, action, and a wonderful way of managing kids on holiday. People may think the experience needs more activities for the kids but there's very little space on the dock or on the boat, so we felt the actors did the best they could with the space and time available. The staff also called us - phoned us! - 2 days later to follow-up and ask us for feedback. We were so impressed. Well done to all the staff involved!

Koerner Hall is seriously one of the BEST concert hall venues I have been to. It is an architectural masterpiece that catches the eye immediately. The acoustics are some of the best I have ever experienced. I was here for a Royal Conservatory Orchestra concert and I was wowed by the sheer talent the student orchestra produces. There is no bad seat in the house, even if you are seated high up.

Koerner Hall is part of The Royal Conservatory of Music. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and should be checked out while here for a concert. It's amazing how well they blend old and new at this property.

How do some people not know about this venue? Word should be spreading like wildfire about how amazing this place is. The concerts here are great and rival a Carnegie Hall series.

Looking forward to being back here in the future!

I’ve seen so many shows here! Was last here a few months ago for the Electric Callboy show. I always have a good time here. When I was young I love the general admission area but in my late 20s and early 30s I love the balcony area. Sound is good as well. It loses a point because it can be a nightmare exiting the venue. That front room is very small.

Went to see Kodaline, totally sold out, last minute ticket from reseller, STILL managed to get close to stage for REAL concert experience
(compared to sitting 400 metres away up in the clouds at the ACC/Scotia and watching a distant TV screen or microdot guitarists).
Winter, so big crowd for coat check pick up at end.... but security were very friendly, let us charge phones on wall while we waited.

    Iconic waterfront spot in Toronto.
Kept up very nicely. Great washrooms.
The parking was VERY confusing and difficult to leave after the show.

Great show!! I was peeved that I paid 100 a ticket for Budweiser Stage so we could sit then got moved to Echo Beach where we could hardly sit and were all packed together with people who paid 20 bucks (and much less was rumoured).
And it was really hot!! With very little shade available
Staff was helpful though! Good people
The bathrooms were like a mile away though.... and that far from the accessible area was totally ridiculous. I feel ripped off about the cost-- and would hope Ticketmaster does help me a solid and gives me atleast a credit since I've bought tickets from them for a long time
Great show however!! In order of appearance, I was sad to miss Hyro the Hero. Memphis May Fire was great! The next bands weren't that great. To the main card, Atreyu was awesome!! Really enjoyed that :) Not sure how The Story So Far and Circa Survive followed Atreyu as they were far less (and not close to as good or accomplished) than Atreyu, but that's a moot point. Thrice was really great!! Surprised they played nothing old or their newest single Hold Up the Light. The Used was excellent though!! Nostalgic tunes from early 2000s. Great end of the show-- no encore though which was odd All in all, great show! Good venue (Y)

I was there for a taping of CBC Radio's Because News and it was a well organized event held in a theatre space perfectly suited to it. CBC staff were great as were the artists (Gavin Crawford and his guests the Baroness von Sketch cast).

I absolutely loved the show. It was different than any other magic show I’d seen. I highly recommend!

Reviewing the previous reviews... ignore the comment about the storyline. It is no different from the book or the movie - so if you don't know the story ... maybe look into it before you see the show? Because it delivers what it's offering..

In terms of what kept this at a 4.

    1) Mics - seem to be out of balance and not cut in at the right times. (one appeared to cut out during a number.

    2) Choreography - minor issues (people falling down and then breaking character) of inconsistency. It's the near end of the show things should be down to a science at this point.

    3) Tone - I didn't enjoy the sound of the Matilda nor Ms Hunny in this production. Ms. Hunny just didn't seem to hold her notes and really was off during the "My House" number.

Overall the production was good. I and my guest enjoyed ourselves. But from what I've seen at another production - there were some fair room for improvement.

We were at the Young Centre to attend a Soulpepper performance of Sizwe Banzi Is Dead, a powerful play written fifty years ago in Apartheid-era South Africa. The programme contains a historical blunder about the origins of Apartheid , but more important than this glitch is the brilliant performance in two roles by Amaka Umeh. Her stage presence is quite extraordinary. Her performance should not be missed.

Highly recommend, put this on your bucket list for the summer! Go early, take a picnic & blanket. Enjoy the transition of the sky from light to dusk & bring an extra pillow to sit on!! There are adaptations done on the play so be prepared. Amazing evening out and magical venue for theatre! Enjoy!

Good effort but a bit of a let down given the admission price. If you have kids who are into magic, could be fun. My teen thought it was ok but probably best for younger kids. There was a lot of talk and museum like artifacts and info. Limited on the real live magic except at the end for 2 impressive tricks. I liked the pod organization that allows for good social distancing while still feeling interactive. Not sure I can recommend it too highly but filled a good hour we had free in the afternoon.
