My niece and I caught 10+ fish over 10 pounds. He did a great job helping my less experienced niece on the trip. You don’t need to know what you’re doing. Just be ready to catch some HOGS!

We have previously chartered in Haida G'waii and Vancouver.
My husband found Ryan's webpage online, and after some comparison shopping, he chose We Pound Em Sportsfishing. Ryan was easy to communicate with and gave us all the information we needed.
We chose the early morning (5 am) departure time, as the days were getting to 32C or more. Ryan was ready for us and we left promptly. He took us out around 4 miles from the marina, so we had a fantastic view of the sun coming up, igniting the downtown skyline in a firey red through the light fog.
By 10:30 am, we had caught 5 enormous chinook salmon (18 to 23lb each) and 2 smaller coho. As Ryan began to clean our catch onboard, we were still catching more. It was incredible. The fish we caught amounted to around 80 lbs of cleaned fish.
The 38' Trojan diesel-powered vessel had a 14' wide beam, so we didn't feel crowded at all. Even while the two of us were fighting to land a huge king salmon at once, Ryan had ample room to work his nets between us. The private head in the cabin added to our comfort.

He is knowledgeable of his gear and more importantly how to entertain his clients. Taro took my girlfriend (beginner fisherlady) and I (intermediate fisherman) out on Lake Ontario for smallmouth bass and it was nothing short of the best day I've had fishing. Not only did he take the time to teach my girlfriend how to properly cast/retrieve a bait but he set her up for that smallmouth bite that she's been itching to experience. Myself on the other hand, I took away valuable knowledge and tips that I could have never gained if I didn't book this trip. Taro genuinely loves what he does and it's evident he's successful. - Bruce J3 contributionsCaptain Mike Attard of Angler’s Edge is highly knowledgeable and proficient in the waters off of Bluffer’s Park, Scarborough on Lake Ontario. He is a dedicated guide who has now put me on numbers of big fish on three consecutive outings. Today i landed 3 different species of salmon…Chinook 20+pounders…Coho…Atlantic…as well as several quality Steelheads.
Mike works hard to not only get you on fish, but to successfully land them (no small order for rapacious trout).

- Parker L5 contributionsCaptain Ian and mate Andrew provide a superb experience. We had a great afternoon with successful landings of Coho, Chinook, and Raindows. One of the best ways to spend a day out on the water. We are very fortunate to have such healthy fish populations for big game fishing so close to Toronto. He set us up to catch fish. We had 19 fish on during our 5 hour charter. This is one of Toronto's best kept secrets,,,seriously!
