Dentonia Golf Course is our family favourite Golf Course in GTA. Its hilly landscape creates beautiful vistas, and a good workout to walk up and down the hills. Convenient location (next to Victoria Park Subway Station) and special family rates on weekends make us come and play again and again. Great for Families with children and teens.
    Friendly and helpful staff.

Not a bad course. If it isn't busy (i.e. people ahead of you aren't holding you up), you can do 9 holes in about an hour and a half. Mixture of short and long holes. Three sets of 9 holes, North, East and West cleverly laid out. Greens can be rather tricky on this course.

Not a super-expert course. But if you are an average golfer, you probably will have fun on this course.

Staff are usually pretty friendly. If you show up by yourself, they will often pair you with a couple of others.

Whilst on holiday in Toronto, I visited lakeshore links indoor golf simulator/entertainment centre. Being from Ireland I am a keen golfer, but found the Toronto humidity a bit hard to handle much less play golf in. In checking out places to get in some practice I came across Lakeshore links golf simulator. Lakeshore links provides a great atmosphere with good food/drinks and friendly, informative staff. The golf simulator hosts a variety of courses and provides plenty of information which both enhance and make the experince more realistic. All in all a brilliant experience, I will be visiting again on my return to Toronto!!!

    Don Valley Golf Course

    Toronto
    #1 Public Golf Course

Fortunately I’ve had the opportunity to play this public golf course on several occasions, Don Valley is a great centralized location with easy in & out accessibility, lots of free parking makes it easier to get a foursome together on short notice. Since I was from North of Toronto, Bob from Oshawa, GB from Mississauga and TF from Richmond Hill… D.V.GC was one of our favourite!
Treat yourself to a great scenic round at reasonable pricing and make sure to play there at least once in the fall.

My only complaint was that I got injured, and can’t play anymore!

    Cheers,
    Dave D.

    * ps Bert … we played golf almost once a week

I had the opportunity this year to attend a function at this facility and what an experience.

I've lived in Toronto all my life and probably passed by this place never really noticing that it was there nor never knowing how amazingly beautiful it is either. And the service, food etc., were fantastic.

While I wasn't there to play golf, looking out onto the greens and fairways was a beautiful site. Manicured and landscaped to perfection wherever you looked. Gorgeous course.

There were many buildings available for parties and functions which made it feel like you were never crowded nor had to worry about limited space or fighting for space.

Staff were incredibly professional, non-intrusive, prompt and friendly. Rooms, inside and out were lovely, spacious and comfortable. Oh, and the food? Amazing! We had both some prime rib and the most delicious piece of poached sea bass I have ever had. Decadent and rich.

If you're looking for the perfect city location, without feeling like you're in the city, beautiful grounds, fantastic service and amazing food, then I definitely recommend this place.

This is a public 18-hole executive course that happens to have 4 very exclusive, private courses close by. Regardless of your skill level, this course is enjoyable and has some challenging holes. It is a busy course but between 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm during the week, it is not very busy and you can get through the course in 3 to 3.5 hours. On the weekends, it can be very frustrating since it is usually quite slow so we avoid it then. On Saturdays & Sundays there is Family Night which is a great opportunity to bring your kids for free. It's not very busy then but you do run the risk of being stuck behind a family that isn't playing "best ball". An enjoyable course that we've been playing for over 10 years and plan to continue playing.

We recently played 18 holes at Royal Woodbine. I must say that the course was in really good condition when we played and it can be attributed to the wet spring/summer we had.

It is a tight golf course and for you to shoot a good score, you need to play smart golf, put your drivers away and hit to the 150 yard markers. For those reasons, I just don't like the course.

Save your money and drive to a cheaper course. The grounds are nice but it is flat and slow. I have player longer that have taken less time to play. If your going to let the weekend warriors out there, you should give them carts but I get why they don't get them, the cost is to high. single person in cart cost 90 plus to golf a round. The sad part is, I can go to Newmarket, Bowmanville or Burlington and play better course for less. TORONTO parks you need to bring down the cost of this course and other for people who want to play.

We visited 4 beautiful safari camps in Botswana - each providing a unique experience and different nature viewing. All guides were highly knowledgeable and professional. Saw so many animals and birds - all truly exciting. All transfers between camps were well organized and on time. Spent 2 days in Victoria Falls - another amazing experience at Old Drift. Mike and Safari & Company provided excellent assistance and support in organizing our trip. Highly recommend Safari & Co to put together a trip of a lifetime.
