Being waiting years to visit this place and I was not disappointed, the amount of history from the sport that was in this building was exceptional, and displayed brilliantly. I especially enjoyed taking shots at a virtual goalie and then also being the keeper which was amazing, even my wife who is only recently into ice hockey enjoyed and the highlight of my day was having my photo with the Stanley cup and seeing various other trophy as well, you will not be disappointed when visiting this place.

The pretzel with mustard was OUTSTANDING. Should have bought more than one!! We enjoyed our first poutine, bratwurst, steak, burger, and it was very convenient to the CN Tower.

Toronto Union station is old and historic. You’ve even seen it perhaps in the The Last Detail or first X-Men movies but that was a while ago…

It’s a transportation hub for the city and has just finished some major renovations. I didn’t even recognize most of it, certainly not the underground portion. It’s an improvement and they kept most of the historic look in the main hall, but I miss the Harvey’s.

If you’re into old buildings and architectural there is some appeal here, if not avoid it during rush hour if you can. It’s a sea of commuters the morning and evening.

The centre was clean and had strict practices still in place which was appropriate for the diverse audience being served. Washrooms are downstairs, there are elevators for those who need it. YOu can purchase items and pick them up after your show-highly recommended.

We didn't plan to visit the museum, but the outdoor (free) trains were fun to watch and board, so we thought that there were more fun activities waiting inside. We were disappointed to see that there were no children activities other than a few coloring sheets. The place was pretty small and we finished in about 30 minutes, but for $30 for a family of 4 it's fine.

I went here on a walking tour. Interesting architecture and worth the visit if you are nearby but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

The recent TSO concert program that included flawless orchestral performances culminated in the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 35. Peter Oundjian conductor.

Oundjian spoke about meeting Guest Artist Timothy Chooi during a visit to The Juilliard School. He quipped that he’s often told, “You have to hear this violinist,” when that’s not often the case. But that the encounter with Chooi made him want to bring him to perform with the TSO. Didn’t hurt either that Chooi is Canadian.

Covid wreaked havoc with the original performance dates, but finally it came to pass.

Over many years I’ve heard the “violin greats” perform this evocative concerto - from Isaac Stern, to Itzhak Perlman, and Joshua Bell.

There’s a new kid in the block who must be added to that stellar roster. Chooi’s mastery brought me to tears!

Thank you Oundjian for showcasing this remarkable talent. I only wish it was allowed to photograph him in action.
