What travellers are saying
- Emma G2 contributionsSt. Lawrence Market in Toronto is a vibrant hub of culture, food, and history. Known as one of the best markets in the world, it offers a delightful array of fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and specialty items.Written January 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nikki V1 contributioniconic building, really great views from the top especially on a clear day. view of the city as well as the Great Lake. we were lucky enough to be able to see the US side as well since it was very clear. the tickets are a bit pricey. and for people with vertigo (like me), the glass elevators can be jarring. but once at the top, you don't feel worried about this any more. remember to go to the lower deck for some extra views that people often miss!Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dambankerToronto, Canada1,854 contributionsGot talked into spending a day on the Toronto Islands. Anyone that knows me, knows that I really don't like traveling to Toronto, easily my least favorite place to be. Finding parking is always a challenge, but once we found a spot, we met up at the water taxis for the ride over. The ride was cheap and the Toronto skyline is best viewed from the water.
The island itself was very clean and well maintained. The trails are clearly marked with lots of rest stops and a small restaurant/snack bar. We managed to find a nice secluded beach that we had to ourselves. It was really hard to imagine that this was Toronto. Had a really great relaxing fun time here. So good here, it made me like Toronto for a day.Written January 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Quite crowded for the day before Christmas, but the holiday magic was alive and well.
Worth seeing if you’re hoping to get into the holiday spirit. Just don’t wear heels, unless you’re a pro…the cobblestone path is not for the faint of heart.Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yachtarelaxPeterborough, Canada9 contributionsI had such a great time at the matinee of Six at the Royal Alex Theatre. We took the Go to Union Station and walked to the theatre. We stopped to eat at The Loose Moose and it was fabulous. The Royal Alex has nice seats and they are a decent size. A larger/taller person could be comfortable here.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The actors, dancers, and musicians performed with such passion. The attention to detail, from the set design to the lighting, creates an immersive experience.

While there take a boat ride you won't be disappointed with the wealth of information and history about the harbour and the islands off in the distance...a few restaurants and shops lined the area as well.

- LexiVCleveland, OH1,743 contributionsWe enjoyed coming through here and took lots of pics but were kind of surprised at how small it was. It's really just a few blocks. If you're into graffiti art at all, it is a must-see. There's great street art all over Toronto though, so don't worry if you miss this one area.Written September 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael MoriarityVancouver, Canada3,848 contributionsThis very cozy garden space is accessed along Queens Quay..the site celebrates music and apparently was inspired by the serene Bach music..there is live music in the summer months but in October I wandered through the six sections featuring different music styles..it was a delight to stroll locating each separate section music site..each site was a quiet space..Written December 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
