iconic building, really great views from the top especially on a clear day. view of the city as well as the Great Lake. we were lucky enough to be able to see the US side as well since it was very clear. the tickets are a bit pricey. and for people with vertigo (like me), the glass elevators can be jarring. but once at the top, you don't feel worried about this any more. remember to go to the lower deck for some extra views that people often miss!

Got talked into spending a day on the Toronto Islands. Anyone that knows me, knows that I really don't like traveling to Toronto, easily my least favorite place to be. Finding parking is always a challenge, but once we found a spot, we met up at the water taxis for the ride over. The ride was cheap and the Toronto skyline is best viewed from the water.

The island itself was very clean and well maintained. The trails are clearly marked with lots of rest stops and a small restaurant/snack bar. We managed to find a nice secluded beach that we had to ourselves. It was really hard to imagine that this was Toronto. Had a really great relaxing fun time here. So good here, it made me like Toronto for a day.

I’m not a well versed hockey fan, I mean i know who Gretzky and Tim Horton are but that’s about it, but the family love the game and wanted to visit, so I happily came along.

I found it really interesting and very cool! Even I came over a bit ‘fan girl’ when we got to pose with the Stanley cup!

Brilliant insight into Canada’s national sport - definitely worth an hour or so of your time and great value too.

The food was amazing and the brewery beer was phenomenal, it is right next to the railroad museum. The food and atmosphere were great worth stopping in.

I had such a great time at the matinee of Six at the Royal Alex Theatre. We took the Go to Union Station and walked to the theatre. We stopped to eat at The Loose Moose and it was fabulous. The Royal Alex has nice seats and they are a decent size. A larger/taller person could be comfortable here.

The "Circle of Life" opening took my breath away with its stunning costumes, intricate puppetry, and powerful vocals. The actors, dancers, and musicians performed with such passion. The attention to detail, from the set design to the lighting, creates an immersive experience.
This production is a must-see for all ages.

I love the calmness of the harbour, a cool place to hang out in the evening too...while watching the boats go by.

While there take a boat ride you won't be disappointed with the wealth of information and history about the harbour and the islands off in the distance...a few restaurants and shops lined the area as well.

Beautiful and picturesque skyline of Toronto when on a cruise on the lake, shouldn't be missed.

Very laid back clothing optional beach. Be respectful and you'll be fine. The newly opened beach further down from the original Hanlan's beach has become the new clothing optional spot. The older spot has more shade and better swimming than the newer beach, while the newer spot is more of a social gathering.

On the last day of summer, Sunday, September 22, 2024, I took the ferry-boat to Centre Island and back to the mainland.

One of the places I visited on the island was the Centreville amusement park. It's a family-friendly park with rides, games, and refreshments. I went for a ride aboard the train, which crosses the lagoon near the Far Enough Farm petting zoo and then through a tunnel.

I'd eventually make my way to the beach and walk out onto the pier. An excellent place to people-watch. There's fewer people on the beach, and a few brave souls swimming in the water.

A wonderful Christmas concert. Less traditional Christmas standards than 2022 but stellar performances! A a family of 9 adults and a young teen, this is an annual family tradition. Parking underground is very convenient.
