This is a beautiful garden. A bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Its lovely to walk around the paths and see the greenery.

A Nice outlook! Not too old either. Some great shops but expensive from what I saw. Food court had some great options too. A joint cinema adds in better fun for a movie after shopping!

The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto is an architectural marvel, set within a beautifully designed campus that includes a serene reflection pool and impressive international-quality structures.

The galleries are thoughtfully laid out and easy to navigate, featuring a diverse array of Islamic art. The collection spans a vast geographical range, from the Middle East to India and beyond, and includes artifacts from different historical periods. Visitors can explore ancient manuscripts, intricate ceramics, and beautifully crafted textiles, all of which highlight the rich heritage of Islamic art.

One of the most impressive aspects of the museum is its wide historical and topical range. The exhibits cover everything from classical pieces to contemporary works, offering a comprehensive view of Islamic artistic traditions. Several contemporary pieces stand out for their innovative interpretations and thought-provoking themes.

Additionally, the museum offers interactive displays and multimedia presentations that enhance the visitor experience, making the art more accessible and engaging. The Aga Khan Museum also hosts a variety of cultural events, performances, and educational programs that further enrich the visitor experience.

The museum staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, enhancing our visit with their warmth and professionalism. Several knowledgeable docents provided fascinating insights into the exhibits, enriching our understanding of the art and its cultural significance.

Overall, the Aga Khan Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the rich tapestry of Islamic art and culture. Its blend of beautiful architecture, diverse collections, and educational offerings make it a standout cultural institution in Toronto.

Used my TPL card to get here for free with my family. Even if I had to pay I wouldn't have regretted it. The staff at the entrance immediately give you a map and explain what and where you can do. The village is big and it took us around 2 hours to walk around and see everything. You can enter houses and see how people lived, how their rooms looked like. Some rooms were blocked from entering but you still could look inside. I really liked the atmosphere. I'm a city person but sometimes you have to leave the noise and bustle behind to enjoy nature. I also liked the animals. We saw sheeps, geese, and horses. There were also pigs but we couldn't find them. There were people but they weren't annoying. A lot of entertainment for kids. There is a lot of space to sit and relax or eat. The food is expensivebut what did you expect. It is cool that once people actually lived in this village and it is all real - not replica. I left this place with good memories and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

It was quite a journey to get to the Botanical Gardens but we were pleased we made it. The gardens are well laid out and very pretty. There was a nice cafe and shop at the entrance. We made our way down through the gardens and into the connecting park. The paths and bridges were well maintained and it was a very enjoyable and refreshing walk.

We love it here! The fields up top are open and clean, and it's a great place to walk, with or without the dog. Very well maintained!

Wonderful visit, the museum looks like a cottage in the middle of high rise buildings. Museum staff were so generous and they have guided us through family history. A must visit place, highly recommended!

York University’s main campus is large, basically being bounded by Jane-Finch-Steeles-Keele streets. It’s fairly accessible to travel by subway or transit to Yorkdale Mall, highway 7 /407 interchange, and even Bloor Street-downtown Toronto. The road construction is horribly long on Finch Street. It’s easiest to enter the centre of campus from Founders Road off Steeles Avenue West. A right turn off Founders would lead to the stadium and eventually to apartment-style accommodations further South. From Founders, the third turn in the opposite direction of MacDonald Blvd. at the roundabout—past older residences by Ottawa-McLaughlin—leads to the heart of campus (unless passing Seneca College buildings at the Keele entrance further South). MacDonald-York Boulevard will take you to the Mall, straddling Schulich school of business and Ross or library buildings to the West: North of the Second Student Building. Parking is $15 max either beyond the newer Atkinson residence (if not at Vanier Lane-MacDonald near Kaneff); or else, a small car lot is on the West side of Atkinson, facing Scholars Walk with stairs to the modern glass Second Student Building—sitting high above Pond Road. Some restaurants are on the South side with more decent restaurants located along Steeles West of Keele up to Bagel Nash (or 168 Sushi if you like buffet) near Dufferin. Most places presently don’t require a facemask, and sanitizer stations are near entrances. Elevators have a max capacity of 2 persons for social distancing, and I could understand if students would want to use a longboard to roll around. It’s a lot of ground to cover, even if you have a car or transit/Presto pass!

The play Dear Jack Dear Louise is playing at the theatre. The play is based on the book of the same name. The acting is superb!!! And the set is imaginative.
The story is riveting and there was not a dry eye in the theatre.
    Highly recommend!

Good trail for walks, bike riding, jogging, dog walking, and seeing nature. This has been a very mild winter with little snow. Thus, the path has been easily accessible and clean. There is a constant sound of geese flying above or close to the Humber trail and river.

Nice mall, offering mostly mid-market goods, and has a Loblaws supermarket. I most often visit to buy clothes, toys, dine at one of the eateries, or simply to have drinks at one of the cafes. Generally, ample parking.

A southern USA outdoor/open air mall, with upscale shops, activities for the kids, nice places for upscale casual dining, and great architecture.

Was more fun than we expected! Our coach, Lev, was friendly and able to teach us the basics even though it was our first time there. Once we got the hang of it, the mini games are really fun!! There was a good variety and the facility was very clean. Since it was just the two of us, we really felt like we were able to immerse ourselves in the experience without any performance anxiety. Gabby was amazing also! A few days before, he checked up on us to make sure we knew what to expect. He is very responsive and made accomodation for our bookings. Overall, a fun way to try something new! We definitely be back for another session!
