- Danyell WHaydon Bridge, UK124 contributionsWe were lucky with the weather. It was a calm day and very clear. What a great experience. It was easy and very well organised to get through security. You take the elevator to the top. There may be a small wait to get to the top floor as the lift is smaller and some people need to travel down to allow more up. The views are amazing. We were brave enough to do the walk outside but you can look down on those doing it which is an experience in itself. You could certainly spend a whole day here, but I walked to the pier and back to the ferry dock, taking about 45 minutes total. - Lynn H2 contributionsThe mansion is lovely with lots of areas to view the interior rooms. The 3rd floor is primarily a military museum and I really was able to appreciate all that I didn’t know about the Canadian military activity
Only negative- the self guided tour was cumbersome to use. Only bad thing was the restrooms were hard to find. Only porta potties by the splash pad. We stopped to eat at The Loose Moose and it was fabulous. The Royal Alex has nice seats and they are a decent size. It's a short ride to the island with great views of the city. I sat the in Orchestra and had no issues hearing the film on the projector screen. While there take a boat ride you won't be disappointed with the wealth of information and history about the harbour and the islands off in the distance...a few restaurants and shops lined the area as well.

A a family of 9 adults and a young teen, this is an annual family tradition. - Sophie W1 contributionI was looking for something my partner and I could do over the holiday break that was fun and shake off the rust a little bit when I found this class! I swear my phone is listening to me sometimes because things like these always seem to pop up online right after I finish talking about them. The class was so worth it though, and Marion is the sweetest instructor ever. My partner and I had no dance experience before and she taught us all we needed to know. If you do sign up for Marion’s class, make sure you have a good partner. The tango is meant to be a two-person dance, and if your partner isn’t engaged, like mine wasn’t unfortunately, then it will be hard when you do your final performance.
