- traveling_with_kathyLake Stevens, WA1,609 contributionsLovely beach with a board walk to the ocean. A couple hundred feet from the parking lot are restrooms. As it was mid-June when I visited not too many people were at the beach. Very peaceful and beautiful.Written June 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lkis229Southington, CT579 contributionsThis is a great trail for walking, running or biking. There are interesting things to see all along it. We only had a few hours and biked from St. Peter's Bay to Mt. Stewart - great ride along the water with places to stop to rest or take pictures. Definitely would recommend this trail.Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Linda AToronto, Canada11 contributionsWell organized & well-marked trails safely separate cyclists & walkers. Lots of scenic look-outs with interpretive info. I biked there from Shaw's Hotel in Brackley Beach.Written June 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Matt EMesa, AZ19 contributionsBring a 55 gl drum of DEET if the air is warm and still. If there is a stiff breeze the outdoors is enjoyable. One can look out on the ocean in the morning and see all the lobster boats. Showers are okay. There is a laundry room with a couple washers and dryers. We had site 1 with water, sewer and electric. It was about as far from the ocean as we could get (100 meters). In the 5 days we were there, rust started to appear on anything unprotected. We were there June 21-25, 2019.Written July 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scurvy J115 contributionsI really enjoyed this hike! The mosquitos liked my son too much, so he did not enjoy it as much. Bring bug spray if you visit during bug season!
We started out on a trail surrounded by trees, part of the path requires you to walk on the dirt road for a few mintues, it's far in the woods so we didn't encounter any vehicles driving. We felt the trail could have been marked a little better because we did wander back on what we thought might have been the trail, and it was actually someone's bee farm. The bees let us know we were in the wrong spot and we backtracked to find the proper trail.
We circled around and came out by the river, very nice and peaceful (except for mosquitos)Written October 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a flat trail that took slightly longer than an hour to walk out and back, all together. There were some signs after we got going, but it was a bit confusing at the start as to which way to go. It was interesting to see the tall wind turbines and get an idea of just how big they are. Lovely views of lobster boats off in the distance. We were hoping to see whales, but unfortunately there were none. A nice walk on a nice day.Written June 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
