We visited the Atwater market this morning to do our regular fresh vegetable shopping and we saw the Christmas market there. Lots of homemade delicacies and we enjoyed a sugar pancake and a savoury pancake. We picked up our normal freshly baked bread as well. Thanks Atwater!

I absolutely love this place. I am from the states and I would move here just so I could go shop every weekend in this Flea Market thrift store. I have never left empty-handed as a matter fact I’ve actually had to buy an extra suitcase because I bought so much. most, and I do say most of the vendors there are very friendly. I found a couple of vendors who didn’t engage in any talk didn’t seem to want to negotiate on prices. Those are the ones that I remember and stay away from. I’ve been here four times and I’ve never ever left empty-handed.

La Promenade Fleury is a stretch of Fleury Street running from Saint-Hubert Street in the west and Papineau Avenue in the east. There are some 250 or so businesses on Fleury in this area: everything from acupuncture to yoga: the whole range of shops, cafés, restaurants and professional services.

Easy access by bus or car, and a short walk from two métro stations make it easy to get to.

History buffs will enjoy the photos of the "good old days" located here and there on the street. Compare how things were with how things are now.

    Something for everyone!

Innovative and not expensive. Meet a lot of the makers!
A great restaurant on site when you get tired. 2 floors of great stalls indoors - a great reprieve from the cold. Really friendly and generally young vendors
