My wife and I loved our visit to Rainspa at the Hotel Place D’Armes for an exceptional Hammam treatment. Their entire team is super professional and talented. The hotel’s General Manager - Emmanuel Perot, went out of his way to make sure my wife’s birthday was extra special, and Florian at the hotel’s main reception was gracious and helpful, offering us the hotel car to take us to our next destination. We highly recommend this establishment, and can hardly wait to visit Rainspa and Place D’Armes on our next visit to Montreal.

Not only the builing is stunning but we loved the water circuit, my deep tissue massage was amazing, thanks to Maxim. We completed the morning with a hydrating facial that was probably one of the best thanks to Maria. Will for sure be back. Facilities is spotless and very calm not overcrowded. A must stop to relax if you are in the Old Montreal.

Such an amazing (and relaxing) experience! We went to bota bota as a little treat on our bachelorette trip. The check in experience went smoothly (we went directly to the receptionist rather than the tablets where you have to manually enter in your party). The locker rooms were a little tight but we managed OK. The entire spa experience was so unique. We managed to do nearly everything the boat offered and then spent some time in the pools on land. It was a bit croweded at times and we did have to wait in a long line for the cold plunge but for the most part we were able to do everything in the 3 hours. The staff were all very helpful and we had no trouble with the silence rules or the no phone requirement. Overall, it was one of the favorites of our trip to Montreal and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting.

This is a smaller but pretty spa. It has two relatively small main pools, both hot, two smaller splash pools, both cold, one infrared wooden slat beds room, a small and a larger sauna. Lots of tents for massage, one with an fireplace and a restaurant - food was good, wine $16 a glass, apps around $15 ea. Soup and hasselback potato with salmon were delicious. Change rooms clean and comfortable. Was disappointed there was no body temp pool but we had a nice time. Good sized crowd after 6 pm.

I got the facial with extraction at Avie Spa last week and came out of it reborn. I felt relaxed and refreshed and I could see my skin glowing in the mirror.
My therapist Tania was lovely and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. She worked with great care, meticulousness and patience.
The spa itself is very clean and pleasant.
    Will be back!

I had the most wonderful experience ...Anna did my manicure and it was perfect. I also enjoyed her personality, she has super customer service skills... At the bar, Anya with the greatest smile, was very efficient as the service included my cappuccino, which was delicious.

ESPACE NOMAD is my favorite spa. Not only is the atmosphere tranquil and soothing, but the products used during the treatments (massages or facials) are of very high quality, natural and smell wonderful. My experience with the massage therapy has been positive, and my favorite massage is the LOMILOMI (a massage that is not offered in many spas). The juice bar available is an extra touch that adds a glossy detail to the range of treatments. I highly recommend it!

I tried the Evasion Ritual a few days ago and had a very relaxing time. The place is well-decorated and the receptionist is very friendly. The treatment rooms (including the sauna and bath) were on the basement floor, and I had the whole floor to myself during my appointment time. It was very private and made me feel safe, especially during the Covid time. The sauna room is brand new and very nice. It's the smaller style so you can't lay down flat. The best parts are the body scrub and massage - Josiane did an excellent job!! She listened to my needs before the treatment, and she really hit all the right spots! Although the ritual includes the Swedish massage, Josiane had the strength to perform the deep tissue on some spots, which was great. It was truly a relaxing experience, and I will definitely go back there when I return to Montreal next time!

Despite some bad reviews about the staff we found them to all be very helpful and polite. This spa caters to a primarily French-speaking clientele but we had no problem as English-only speakers, with the exception that all the signs and information are only in French. We had a great couples massage and enjoyed the baths and saunas. Probably not as good as Bota Bota in terms of variety of spa and pool options but still good value for the cost.

I've found this spa by accident while looking for massage place and I'm super happy about that.
This spa is a little gem in griffintown with amazing massage therapists, organic products, even massage oil and tea are organic and they are the only place in Montreal who provides cryo therapy.

As a personal trainer, I am often in need of massages. Sometimes deep tissue or more relaxing or lymphatic. No matter what I choose, I always enjoy my experience. I am always greeted warmly and professionally by the reception team and the atmosphere is calm, peaceful and soothing. I even take time after my massage to enjoy tea and relax in the reception area. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet spa experience with a variety of different massages with excellent masseuses, this place is for you.

I have been going there for years. I would go every month because I liked the establishment and my masseuse. Unfortunately she left and then I was going every 3-4 months. Of course covid came along and didn't step foot for almost 2 years till this weekend. Jeremy was amazing for my massage and I really felt relaxed. I just wish he would of massaged my feet as well, but that's not a big issue. My issue is that they charge $5.00 more on weekends. I'm sorry but that is not right. The majority of people can only go on weekends and now you want to charge extra $5.75 ( to be exact) . Not only have your massage prices gone up but you are now taking advantage.
I might look for another place to go for massages less expensive.
