We were picked up from our hotel and taken directly to Mont Tremblant, taking in the scenery along the way.
The resort itself is beautiful, we arrived in a bit of a downpour, but with an umbrella provided by Chris, we still had a great time there, it’s just a stunning location, and would love to go back there.
Mega highlight was seeing the wildlife along the way, and then a tornado warning alert on the way back, don’t get that in the UK!

After the proposal, we had plenty of time left for a photo shoot around Mont Royal (He has booked the 60 minute session). Stefanie was so kind and made us feel comfortable the entire time. These photos are unique and something that will help us share the special moment with family and friends back home. They were edited expertly and are perfect for an engagement announcement or save the date. - mark john caria3 contributionsI cannot emphasize enough how utterly disappointing and frustrating my experience with this tour provider was. I had paid a whopping $110 for a weekend tour of Old Montreal in Italian for two people (my friend and me). Our guide, Heidy, not only failed to speak Italian but was shockingly unprepared for the Old Montreal tour. She explained that she had been informed of our booking only 24 hours in advance and hadn't visited the center of Montreal in a decade (she ignored the fact that we were paying customers and not friends who she was giving a favor to). Knowing that Lokafy provides non-professional guides, I didn't set high expectations, but this experience was beyond abysmal and bordering on the comical.
First and foremost, Heidy seemed to rely on us to dictate where we wanted to go, which is entirely the opposite of what a guide should do. She had little to no knowledge of Montreal's history and resorted to reading bilingual English-French plaques beneath statues (which were poorly translated, and I could read them more accurately in English). Frustrated by her incompetence, I found myself leading the tour using GPS because she was completely disoriented and appeared to be navigating Montreal for the first time. For instance, she confused Bonsecours Market with City Hall, even though they are on opposite sides of the street, and she was searching for the entrance under City Hall.
To make matters worse, Heidy was rude and arrogant, repeatedly inquiring about the time and whether I had booked for two people, insisting that she hadn't received the full payment and demanding a receipt from me (instead of addressing Lokafy directly). She was slow and confused to the point that she even asked me if I were a Lokafy guide and if I was the one supposed to be leading the tour.
I reached out to the customer service to request a full refund due to this dreadful experience. After providing detailed accounts of this excruciating $110 excursion twice (once through WhatsApp and a 30-minute phone call), they flatly refused to reimburse me, claiming that the service had been provided and offering only a meager 50% voucher. To make matters worse, the agent I spoke with, Gemma, admitted to having personally hired Heidy and assigned her as our guide, adding insult to injury.
I do never write review or complain, but If you are reading this review, I implore you to steer clear of this provider. Erase them from your considerations and avoid them like the plague. On our first visit to Montreal, we were looking for a unique experience, and Rémi passionately told us great stories about the city. His voice is unique, very easy to understand and he speaks English very well. We shared with him our desire to discover a beautiful terrace, and he kindly invited us, at his own expense, to the Place d'Armes terrace to enjoy the magnificent view of Montreal. In addition to his generosity, he's funny and friendly!

Eric was a wonderful guide-very warm and engaging! being a native of the area, Eric had many interesting stories and facts. The food stops were lots of fun with time to walk between them. these are not fancy food stops but stops that locals would gravitate to for a bite. it was a fun way to spend a few hours-enjoy some food and learn about Montreal- its history and people.!!! He is a complete master of photography and provides a full plate of quality photo sites based on your interests. I enjoyed conversing with him (we had some good laughs) and appreciated his calm demeanor. There was nothing rushed or hurried with any of our stops. Alain offered great composition suggestions and gave me plenty of freedom to explore creatively. I feel like I came back with many solid photos and a greater appreciation for the total beauty of Montreal.
You will have a quality, memorable experience in Montreal when booking with Alain. Our guide was very professional and friendly (we can't remember his name exactly, but he told us he was originally from Romania). We had no idea what to expect from the day.
Parc Omega is a wildlife parc with wide open spaces where animals can (in many cases) roam freely. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, but two things stood out: the presentation by staff at the park during the feeding of the wolves, and the feeding of the deer that are all over the park by us from our vehicle. Basically we were provided carrots to feed the deer through the car windows. This was somehow so hilarious that it never got old. I was sad when my carrots ran out.

There were many historical sites to see on this tour takes you out of Montreal and really off the beaten track. The trip includes beautiful views, nice towns and an immersion into local history. Mounir really has a good knowledge of the tourist industry and the needs of his clients.
