- Trek6492691 contributionGreat experience with clean bedding and decent food. We went sleeper class so it wasn’t cheap. I’d recommend it to go one way for the experience but not both. - Betty T1 contributionWe were on a vacation in Quebec for 3 days and, on our way back to Toronto on December 8, 2024, our train to Montreal was delayed for 1.5 hours. We were worried because we realized we definitely will missed the connecting train to Oshawa.
However, God sent us an angel, a gentleman who was a off duty VIA employee (his name is William) sitting next to us (I am on car 3 seat 8D). He took the initiative to help us, dismounted our luggage's from the compartment, worked with other on duty employees and helped us connect with other on duty employees. He even carried our lugages to the connecting train. We were running behind him. We don't know how to thank William and all the VIA employees for a superb service. We are really appreciate, and may God bless William and his coworkers. The driver, Mr Abdel was fantastic and very helpful. He is swaying and weaving lanes. Over and over we hearing drivers honking and nearly getting pushed over. It’s so stressful!
We put our seat belts on! Hope we make it there alive!

Unbelievably slow process to connect; not sure who is slower & less caring, Montreal security or US Customs.
