The four day, 3 night, 200 kilometer cycling vacation north of Montreal was a 30th wedding anniversary and it proved to be an excellent experience. Parts of the trail are somewhat remote, nature settings and as such force you to withdraw yourself from the everyday urban existence and this can be a very good thing. Other elements of the trail include the very civilized option of booking overnights at Auberge accomodations which in some cases include excellent supper and breakfast for a very reasonable cost. The support provided includes solid bicyles, the 200k ride north from St Jerome Quebec to the starting point along with side bags as necessary and the delivery of your luggage from one hotel to the next. The trail is an old railway bed and as such does not offer more "athletic challenges" than you wish to make them as there is a full range of ages enjoying the trip.
