Very nice market. Fresh produce, flowers, plants, plus lots of places to get a bite to eat. Large supermarket (Super C) right across the street, and a large liquor store as well. Close to the Orange line metro. A nice way to spend a morning or afternoon.

We had a few hiccups starting out, Trip Advisor had the opening time wrong and they only give tours at pre-set times, either in English or in French. The staff were able to accommodate us though and we were able to get a tour, which lasted an hour. I wish it was longer, it was very informative.

Running almost the length of the island, Notre-Dame Street (Rue Notre-Dame) is one of Montreal’s most prominent thoroughfares. The most interesting stretches are in Old Montreal (Vieux Montréal), where it’s lined by historic buildings, and in Griffintown, Little Burgundy, and St. Henri, where antique stores, cafés, and restaurants abound.

Cirka is a small distillery that produces high quality spirits. They designed their own still. We visited the distillery on a Saturday, there was no production activities. The tasting was informative and the bar area is comfortable.

The Burrynsky show has much of the same kinds of images that he's been doing for decades. Although with some additions, such as agriculture.

However, there were at least 2 surprises: the 22-minute multimedia show was powerful and superbly disturbing.

The other surprise was the massive image of coral. So beautiful so beautiful.

    Worth a visit.

The Angrignon Park was designed by the same architect as the Central Park in NYC, which is showing a lot by how the paths are done between the plants and lakes. Nice place to take a stroll, do your jogging or have a family picnic. (A lot of people also rent a part of the park to have a family event with barbecues and tents too ) You have to pay for the parking, but there's free parking in the streets around the park and it's also accessible by bus or subway.

We got there before dinner and we actually only had cider, beer for my brother a soda for me. The place is absolutely amazing with the different seating area spots and food counters to order from. I am only sad ai couldn’t taste the blueberry vodka cocktail which calls for another visit!

Wonderful climbing gym, bright and clean. Staff is friendly, professional and attentive. Routes are changed weekly or more. Best climbing gym in Montreal! Good for bouldering, and a weight / workout room as well.

This place is incredible. The sign-in process was easy. Locker room was spacious and clean. The briefing room was big enough to accommodate our entire session comfortably. The staff was warm and helpful, and were fluent in both French and English, so everyone could thoroughly understand. The animator who ran our session was incredible. He managed to keep every game moving quickly, kept everyone engaged and in the game, and made everyone feel capable and critical to their team's success. The other staff member who attended managed to get some absolutely amazing photographs, available to everyone after at their facebook page. This was one of the biggest surprises - I've been to similar types of event space where the photos are poor, but they want to charge extra for them. These photos were great, and were all part of admission. The equipment was all clean and well-maintained. Finally, the space itself was great - a blend of cover and open space to allow for different play styles.

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. Strongly, strongly recommend.

We visited with adult family members and children aged 12 & 9. Everyone had a brilliant time and we were all super impressed with the quality of the experience.
There’s a bit of queuing on arrival (in spite of the pre-booked slot). Once it was our turn, someone helped us to get our VR sets on. Immediately we could see an avatar representing the people around us. Our group had yellow avatars, the staff had green, and everyone else was blue - making it easy to identify people during the experience.
Once we entered the VR space we were completely immersed, standing on a space station while looking down at the Earth. There were no walls at first so I really felts like I might fall off! It was quite realistic.
We were able to walk around and tap bubbles which would immerse us even further - here you lost all perception of those around you and you were enveloped in a part of the space station on your own where an astronaut talked about life living on it.
Towards the end of the experience we were guided to a seat in the “cinema” - the VR set made your assigned seat glow to avoid any confusion. We watched a short VR film, and then the experience ended.
Overall the experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend it. The only negative was that a few of us had problems without headset and needed help, and sometimes it look a while to get someone’s attention.
All in all it was well worth it.

I went to a sold our concert. My husband left his wallet on the bar and a good security guard grabbed it and hung on to it until my husband went looking for it... had they not been fast enough, it may have been stolen and we never would have found it in this huge sold out venue! The coat check was understaffed a bit... it took abut an hour to get our coats...

My kids are ages 5-11 and they had an amazing time! They learned different saber and combat moves and choreography, and then had a blast duelling. I definitely recommend this to star wars fans

This is a big urban renewal area, not fully realized. It is dominated by the ETS University, the second biggest technical school in Canada. The campus buildings are all over the place, as well as residences for the students. Right now this area looks like a lot of construction sites, empty space and then modern apartment buildings. No Metro service.

It's the old courthouse, next to city hall and in Old Montreal. The architecture is pleasant, but not the prettiest in town. Avoid the new courthouse as it is dull.

This exhibition did not live up to expectation, The first room with an extensive biography of Van Gogh's life displayed in white italic lettering on black boards was difficult to read if your vision or reading skills are limited. It could have been edited to one or two boards. The remaining black boards could have displayed each of Van Gogh's paintings we were about to see in the second room with the history of that particular painting and Gogh's painting process and technique.

The second room displayed Van Gogh's paintings flowing and moving across huge screens was not as immersive as expected. I appreciated the stunning visual effect but it didn't "grab" me and didn't stay with me after I left the exhibition. I did appreciate seeing up close the brushwork and Van Gogh's use of colour to create depth and life. It was not the immersive experience I was looking forward to.
