A must see regardless of the renovation / restoration. The ticket price of 16$ is a little much but it's well worth it. It is the first neo gothic church in Canada and the interior is absolutely stunning and grandiose.

A charming, historic old part of Montreal that is definitely a place visitors should see when visiting Montreal. We took an Uber to the Rue St-Paul area where there are many many restaurants and bars all lined up for many blocks. Even though it was 9 degrees out, we walked a few blocks and checked out a few places and enjoyed the area.
    Definitely worth visiting!

A gorgeous, expansive public park in the middle of Montreal with many walking trails to enjoy the trees and grassy areas. The park has lakes, boat rentals and other attractions. It reminds me of Stanley Park in Vancouver. Very popular with residents and McGill University students. A great place to chill and get one with nature.

Although I visited the Botanical Garden by the end of fall -when most of the trees are almost done shedding their leaves and the flowering plants are not flowering anymore, I was overwhelmed by the amount of beautiful trees, plants, shrubs and other floral organisms, plus the constructions providing different environments (e.g. Chinese garden, Japanese garden, rose garden etc.) are just ideally designed for an immersive experience. I didn't cover the whole place on my visit though, because it's huge.

Fun visit to the Montreal Biodome. Enjoyed seeing many species of boreal, tropical and arctic animals and birds. Highlight was the river otter and penguins. Suggest you go to planetarium and watch a film then hit the biodome then go back to planetarium and watch another film. English films are not as frequent as French. $23 for each location.

MMFA is fantastic! The exhibitions continue to get better each time. I am impressed with the quality of the exhibit, the collaboration that goes into preparing each one and am grateful to have to opportunity to have access to the museum.

    It is inspirational!

I visited the marked just to take a peek with no intention of buying anything, which I accomplished. I wish I had though, because everything looked so fresh and tasty. Lots of options of meat, vegetables, jams and other local products. There is a couple of places to sit down and have a meal or just a coffee. The ambiance is quiet and cozy, although it can get busy at times.

RÉSO, lovingly known as the Underground City (or La ville souterraine in French), is a fantastic part of downtown Montreal! We came here on a Saturday shortly after opening. The line to get in was quite long if you didn't order your tickets online. Guides at the desk were very helpful. Considering the line to get in, it wasn't overly crowded in the museum. It was very interesting some of the history. They even had some interactive exhibits that the kids would like. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely to walk around and take in all the sights. We took pics of the Ferris wheel but it is gigantic and we chose to admire it from afar.

Sainte-Catherine Street (French: rue Sainte-Catherine) is the vibrant heartbeat of Montreal's downtown and is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the city's lively shopping scene! With its charming boutiques, delicious restaurants, and cozy cafes, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

As you stroll along this exciting shopping avenue, you'll find a variety of malls and shops to explore. Just a heads-up, though—there can be some road construction here and there, and you might catch a whiff of cannabis in the air. But don’t let that deter you; the lively atmosphere and great finds make it all worth the visit!

The Barbie expo was a delightful stop for any Barbie enthusiast. This exhibit focused not on Barbie's history but showcased various designer outfits on hundreds of dolls, featuring names like Bob Mackie and Calvin Klein. The free exhibit was definitely worth the visit. Keep in mind that it's located in an older downtown mall, which can be hard to find due to limited signage, but the stunning displays of Barbie make it worthwhile. However, the rest of the mall isn’t worth your time.

The Little France around Laurier St is a beautiful vibrant cool area. I like it. Very charming, delicious food. Fantastic croissants for 2 for $1.50 at the Metro grocery. Lots of cafes and specialty shops like cheeses, grilled cheese, awesome breakfasts. The area is pretty and colourful, well kept. Very clean. Also next to a huge park. It's a short hop to Mt Royal Blvd and the food is so good in this area. Also lots of excellent coffee shops. It's one of the best areas in town.
