Oh my god! Pun intended. I love visiting extravagant churches with beautiful architecture and this one did not disappoint. I will say the tour doesn’t take that long and the reason I said oh my god about my visit is because we went to the Arua experience in the evening. The lighting designers for the Arua experience are incredible artists and put together an incredible immersive light show complete with moving projections and detailed lighting to highlight the beauty within the building. If the Arua experience is still around go because it is worth the price.

Such a unique place - definitely has the flavor of Europe to it, despite the tourists! The time to go however is when it isn't as crowded. Easy to stroll around, snack, have a drink, do some shopping. Also take a walking tour and learn some of the history of old Montreal!

Drive around til you find the ice skating rink. There is a toboggan run nearby and cross country skiing . There is a pavilion with a cafe upstairs (with the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had) and equipment rental downstairs. We just watched but it all looked so fun! The ice rink had Xmas trees with lights in the middle and nice music on the speakers .

It's a beautiful and historical place and has a good terrace for photo taking asside from the different parts to visit inside.

I think it was the largeat basilica i saw in Montreal. And has different levels and make sure to visit all of them since you are already there.

The interior design of the main chapel was simpler than what i expected (comparing to ther churches and basilicas in Montreal but its minimal design still is beautiful.

I believe in summer it has a better garden view and in summer usually they do the necessary repairs.

Yoi have access through bus and after the main entrance wgich is the Parking gate you shall wait for the Shuttle to bring you up to the 5th level of basilica where the main entrance and exit is located.

Remember my review is in Dec and winter season. I believe this changes in summer.

A lot of just the kind of art that we love, with paintings and sculptures from all the great artists.
Pop Art was a bit lame and too many of the galleries were closed for no particular reason, but still a real wow!
Don’t forget your hiking boots as you’ll need them.

My wife and I visited the Old Port during a trip to Montreal and loved it. This port is very similar to Chicago’s Navy Pier. Very nice!

Fun to walk and pop in to stores, be sure to read the history so you study the buildings and not just the art stores. Beautiful at night but more open during the day.

This is a large beautiful cathedral in central Montreal, nextdoor to the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel. Whatever is happening outside with the noise and cold of modern Montreal in November, is forgotten when you enter and appreciate the art, beauty and scale of this place. Even as a non-religious person I found this place to be quite extraordinary and definitely worth a visit.

It's actually another location almost 45 minutes walking distance from Notre Dam Basilica where you can find beaugiculGrafitis on the walls and houses painted with different colors.

Since we came in December most of the colors were faded and i believe they renew the paintings after cold seasons.

A good place to go during late spring and aummer but nothing much in Winter.

We walked through this lovely cobbled square a few times.
It’s pedestrian only, a rarity in Montreal.
Surrounded by restaurants and cafés with the gardens of Château Ramezay on one side.
Also a statue of Nelson for some reason. There’s even a Jardin Nelson opposite. Reminds us of the time there was a Titanic exhibition in some museum on Route 66!

Worth the walk to this lovely old building, with scenes from Montreal’s past all round the inside walls.
Great views of the city from outside, including encore Leonard Cohen!

I recently visited Rainspa at Hôtel Place d’Armes and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The service was not only friendly but truly exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The spa itself was beautifully designed, creating a calming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. And as for the massage, it was truly amazing – I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend Rainspa to anyone in need of a pampering escape.

I discovered the spa a year ago and have been a regular ever since. Cynthia is a highly skilled massage therapist and has helped me so much throughout the months. She has a deep knowledge of the human body and knows exactly what to do to make a difference for her clients. Highly recommend her! Also always extremely courteous and friendly welcome by Jordan and Carol!
