Had the most amazing walking tour with Louis! He knew everything about the history and shared it in such an engaging manner. Truly one of the best tours we have been on and was the best way to start our visit to this charming city. Highly recommend this tour, and Loius, to anyone traveling to Quebec!!

These are the top two sights around Quebec City and it makes sense to combine them into a half-day excursion. The falls are actually taller than Niagara and easy to enjoy up close. The basilica is a short visit around the grounds or inside and worth a stop.

Easy location to meet, went with a group of around 8 people to 4 different restaurants. The food at each restaurant had its own flair. Was nice to experience lots of different dishes. Great guide, easy walking. Would recommend.

Reasonably priced, entertaining and informative. Our guide Dan did a great job. We also got a sense of what we might like to see and what we could skip.

What a great way to see Quebec Old City

We had a great tour guide, Marie- Pierre, she was excellent. Showed us upper and lower town. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Quebec. Bonus stop for fudge and hot chocolate.

We usually do a walking tour whenever we are visiting a city for the first time. This was my first time to Quebec City, and I was very happy with the walking tour. The guide was great...very knowledgable and friendly.

A Fantastic Walking Tour with Sam in Quebec City!

Visiting Quebec City for the first time, I decided to join a walking tour to get the most out of this beautiful and historic destination. I’m so glad I did because Sam, our guide, made it an absolutely unforgettable experience!
From the moment we started, it was clear Sam was passionate about the city. His knowledge of Quebec City’s history, culture, and architecture was incredible, and he had a way of explaining things that made every story come alive. Whether it was the fascinating history of Old Quebec or the charming details of hidden alleys, Sam kept us engaged the entire time.
Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but Sam was also hilarious! His humor added such a fun element to the tour, and he had our group laughing multiple times. He was quick with a joke or a playful comment, which made the experience feel lighthearted and entertaining.
On top of that, Sam was so friendly and approachable. He took the time to answer our questions, made sure we felt comfortable, and even gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and attractions to visit after the tour. You could tell he genuinely cared about making our visit to Quebec City special.
I can’t recommend Sam’s walking tour enough! If you’re visiting Quebec City, this tour is a must-do, and you’ll be lucky to have such a fantastic guide to show you around. Merci, Sam!

When visiting a large city we always take advantage of the Hop On Hop Off bus tours. It gives you a feel of the area, chance to see where you want to return to visit and also just to experience the feel of the city. We purchased our tickets online, downloaded to phone - all easy - asked for recommendation from hotel where was best place to find parking and then get on at a stop. Parking was easy - finding the closest stop was not. But we got a great walk in before we finally found stop. Raymond was our tour guide and he gave a great 1.5 hour commentary. Kudos to the driver on the tight turns on narrow streets filled with cars. Tour was worth the price and always recommend doing.

I wish we used this tour upon first arriving in Quebec to get a general sense for the city and determine the part we really wanted to explore. The tour was excellent for getting your bearings in the comfort and especially the warmth of the car before venturing outside to explore. It was a little tricky to follow the map/directions because the app simultaneously shows images, etc. but we ultimately got the hang of it. It also doesn't account for detours in the city of which there were many on New Year's Eve but that honestly wasn't the app's fault. Overall --- it was a great tool and my family was so thrilled to discover it after a few very chilly days in Quebec! Highly recommend.

It is easy to describe this tour through Quebec City as amazing. While on your walk Judith weaves a story not only about the city and its discovery and development but expands it to the attendant impact on not only Canada but the United States and beyond. Using the architecture of the city and its natural surroundings Judith will also incorporate what early settlers learned from or didn't learn from the indigenous people about how to survive in an unwelcoming climate. I can't do justice to how much you can learn from Judith; she has a wealth of knowledge about Quebec.
But for my wife and I what was as equally rewarding was the opportunity to meet and spend time with such an accomplished woman of the world. Judith has spent her life in service to our world and the people in it. I don't think it is my place to describe her experiences but I can only encourage anyone to take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with this amazing woman. And bring your sense of humor because she is very quick. Tom and Lynn - Northern California

My boyfriend and I recently tried the walking tour, and it was the perfect way to explore the charming city of Quebec. We loved how the tour combined history, culture, and a bit of friendly competition. The riddles were challenging enough to keep us engaged, but not so difficult that we got frustrated. One of our favorite moments was solving a riddle that led us to a cozy little café.
