Great tour in English! - or French. The jail cells, the history of the few women who got educated, the solid wood railings and hewn floors and the library!
    Fiona was a super guide!

This is a hidden gem which we discovered through our reading of Louise Penny's mystery novels. The guides offered an excellent tour in English (French tours are of course available) and we were able to find out about the history of the site as a prison and then a University. It's well worth a visit!

What a beautiful place with a lovely collection. I especially enjoyed the fanzine Collection. My French is not excellent, and so I was able to find a few books, mostly middle grade reader books, that I could easily translate in this beautiful building. What a sweet way to spend a morning “between the stacks”.

Helpful staff and a good place to load up on maps and brochures, recommendations for things to see and o. It's in the Upper Town, old city.

A two minute walk from the historic old town, the convention Center is conveniently located for tourists who also want to take in a bit of history. Rooms are a good size. Food services were good. Access to the Hilton Hotel is also convenient as you don’t need to go outdoors. Parking lot across the street. Car rentals available in the attached hotels.

Not really great. Attention is horrible. I came as a 'courtesy' guest of KLM asni an travelling business.
Well, the alcohol is not free. You must pay for it . I do not remember a lounge where this is the case when you're travelling business.
I have been sitting in the same spot for one hour and what is on the pic remains.
Food leaves a lot to be desired (there is hardly any anyway)...
I am better off going back to the main area. Drinks are cheaper for sure!
