I had a wonderful experience here! This is where my ancestors worshipped and it was touching to be here. I was very grateful to a kind volunteer who gave me the directions on how to go through the Holy Door, open special early. Unfortunately the crypt was not open as it was still winter, which was disappointing.

Friendly staff got us cleared to enter quickly. Some good exhibits, too bad one of the houses was closed to visitors. Gift staff ignored people standing nearby.

Huge building but not exactly what I was expecting. There were several exhibitions in different areas, concentrated on very specific things. When I went, it was the indigenous peoples, hip-hop, Trans people, and boxing. Except for items in the first one, mostly it was all digital displays. Still, they were professionally put together, containing interesting information.

It was our first afternoon in Quebec City. While not planned we ended up walking down the stairs to lower old Quebec. After dinner we preferred not to walk up the many steps and we’re glad to see the funicular was close by. No lines and easy ride with great views of the St. Lawrence River. It was worth not having to climb all the steps and enjoy the view. We rode the Funicular a second time after a sightseeing boat cruise. Winding our way down to Lower Quebec was fine but the convenience of the Funicular for getting to our dinner reservations was very good.

The Morrin Center is a fascinating repurposing of a jail into a museum and library.

Our group had a guided tour of the old jail section. It was depressing, dark and claustrophobic. Having said that, it’s important to not forget about this part of history.

The library and reading room are lovely. It was cool to see a location that is included in Louise Penney’s books!

Some beautiful and intriguing modern art displays, though I was expecting more classical art. I can't really understand or appreciate much of modern art!

This is a small Roman Catholic stone church on Place Royale in the lower town of Old Quebec City. We learn that it was initially started in 1687 on the site of Champlain's habitation and was completed in 1723. The church is one of the oldest in North America. This is a beautiful small catholic church in Lower Quebec with a lot of history. It is on a plaza with numerous restaurants. It is in the plaza that features the recent frescoes on of Quebec's History on the side of a several tall buildings. We enjoyed our short stop at the Church, its beautiful decor and history.

We stopped at the Chapel on our Walking Food Tour. Our guide Philip gave the history of The Ursuline’s coming to settle in New France (Quebec) building the first school for girls in New France. The church has two sections one for parishioners and at a 90 degree angel for the Cloistered Nuns, where they are not seen. It is a small beautiful church with an ornate altar. The other buildings are coed school today.

Beautiful and easy to navigate. We rode business class and the lounge provided drinks and comfortable seating. We were seated very fast.

We spent four nights here in this very unusual boutique hotel. The location is lovely in the old town and quiet but close to restaurants and other attractions.
The old monastery with a modern addition is wonderful - the design is exceptional. The first two floors house parts of the original monastery and are a museum - tours of the museum are available in French and English and are excellent.
Breakfast is included but taken in silence - continuing the traditions of the order.
Our room on the fourth floor was comfortable - compact but well designed with good reading lights. Comfortable beds but no desk in our room. No TV in keeping with maintaining a restful atmosphere but good wifi.
The only thing that surprised me is that the windows are not to be opened as they are fragile - you have to use the A/C system for ventilation which is a pity as it is a bit noisy.
Staff are helpful - there is also a nice gift shop.
This is an unusual but very tranquil and beautiful place in which to stay.

My family enjoyed our visit to this mall. The amusement park with ice skating rink is a great addition to the mall. The mall was clean and has a variety of stores that all can afford. Coming from the USA, it was nice to visit the Toys R Us stores since they all closed down in the states. We would definitely return.

My wife and I took the self-guided walking tour of the St. Louis Chateau and Forts. This part of the city was built in the 1600s and occupied until a fire destroyed much of the site in the 1800s. It is located beneath the Terrace with the entrance near the Hotel Frontenac. The walk took us about an hour to walk through the archeological site and read most of the interpretive boards. It was extremely informative and unique. Also, as an added bonus, it was air conditioned which was lovely on the hot day we did the tour.

A lovely church to have a look round. The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is the first Anglican cathedral to be built outside the British Isles. It was built between 1800 and 1804,

Beautifully decorated and great seats anywhere. Was in the upper level for Saturday Night Fever...great show. Only comment would be to have upstairs bar a little better set-up for the intermission..no major problem.

My friend and I were visiting Quebec and are history buffs and naturally wanted to stop here. The video is well done recounting mainly the French and English conflicts of the 1700s and 1800s. The staff was very friendly and the exhibits about the history are also well done. It is a small place and not too extensive.
