- Heddy GMalvern, PA607 contributionsWent on Christmas eve day so the visitors center was closed but we were still able to walk to the falls. There were a lot of others doing the same. Its really cool to get so up close to this water fall.Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heddy GMalvern, PA607 contributionsWe were there at a pretty busy time so it was close to an hours wait both times we did the slide but it was totally worth it. Bundle up as its cold standing there waiting and know that the cushioning on the sled is not much so prepare your bum for some bumps!Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DawnShelby, OH1 contributionWe had a one day stop in Quebec on an ocean cruise. We had rented city bikes to do a 4 hour ride to the falls on our own. Unfortunately the day was extremely windy. We stopped in to the bike shop to explain that we would have to cancel due to high winds. Marc was very helpful and suggested that we could to it with e-bikes. Having never really ridden e-bikes he gave us thorough instructions and explained map and directions. We had a wonderful ride (bike trail the whole way) and the falls were spectacular.Written October 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrsmcdltWinnipeg, Manitoba39 contributionsWe rented a couple of e-bikes for the day, and had a blast. The bikes were in excellent condition, and the gentleman at the shop was great to deal with. We did not go on a tour - just set out on our own. We got great directions to the trail to Montmorency Falls, and spent time admiring the view. This was a highlight of our trip, and we would recommend it to anyone!Written May 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChristopherSkillen2 contributionsA good friend and I were luck enough to experience an outing with this great company.
Our guides were very experienced and friendly and explained all of the elements necessary for our full participation in 2 hours on the ice and water.
I can't think of anything that would improve on their operation and I am very critical because of my age. (;-)
Québec City is fortunate to have a company like Canot a Glace providing its guests with such a unique and 'once in a life time experience'
It would be a mistake not to do an outing on the ice with this excellent operation. Life is too short.
A special thanks to all involved in this wonderful morning on the ice.Written February 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Since I was on my own, I took the solo package 'Quebec Vue du Ciel' which meant that I would be joining 2 other people (the helicopter only has seats for 3 passengers). I didn't mind since it enabled me to save some money.
Upon arrival at the office near the Quebec airport, I was greeted with a smile and directed to a room to watch a short video on how to bucke the seat and other basic security features. Then the pilot, Simon, lead our little group outside to the helicopter. Lucky me, I was able to have the front seat which gave me an excellent view on everything.
Simon made sure we were all bucked in then took off right away. We went first toward Cap Rouge, then over the two bridges and along the St-Lawrence. The pilot circle around the Mosaicultures which was great! Then he swept around the Old Quebec before heading back toward the airport. Landing was very smooth.
I had a hard time believing we had flown at 220 km/hr most of the time. Even if it was a short 15-minute tour, I had a great time and enjoyed the views. The flight was a bit bumpy in some places but no worse than a plane. This was a nice way to celebrate my birthday!!Written August 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
