- lsproxtonMeota, Canada15 contributionsThis was definitely the reward that followed a days paddle. We were the only people there that day and it made for a wonderful experience. To look at the construction, the lake the graves, all made for a wonderful experience Need to redo by hiking next time.Written June 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ottokarinEdmonton, Canada107 contributionsThis Casino had a good variety of games, and the staff were friendly. We were able to spin the wheel, as we were from out of the province. Didn’t win anything at all, as we normally play minimum bets. Lost a great deal, and will not be back in this neck of the woods.Written August 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Canadiantravellers5Saskatoon, Canada26 contributionsIt is not a big museum, but very well done. There was lots of interesting, historical items and facts about PA. It was very clean and well organized. There was a cute little tea room upstairs that wasn’t open because of covid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking the tour, as it was interesting to hear about some of the history from a knowledgeable person who shared a few stories and facts we wouldn’t have heard if we walked through on our own.Written September 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CAJ64 contributionsA spot close to Prince Albert offering a nice place to take the family on a gentle hike any time of the year. We even pulled the crazy carpets out of the trunk and had a great time wasting half an hour on the hill. Hikes are not terrible challenging but filled with natural beauty. Perfect for families.Written January 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- rlmptlLloydminster, Canada1,273 contributionsWe found out about this site from a bucket list of Sask book of which we are trying to see everything in the book and since we were in the area we decided to check it out.
It was easy getting on to 302 east of Prince Albert the rest is a little hard as GPS took us down a washed out road coulee to the bottom and then it ends at a field and not to the right spot, the road signs were confusing where to turn and we had to back track but we finally found it and its soooo beautiful.
the light beige rock walls are interesting you have to crane to see the views between the trees and the trail down is closed with signs saying its dangerous. There is a nice picnic spot with trees lots of tables and pit toilets. Wide open large parking lot. two information stone cairns to read telling the history.
Lots of skeeters in July August we had to wear protective mesh gear to cope with it. You can see where the rivers meet the brown from the one river running into the blue from the other. Beautiful field of ripening wheat on one side and a land of the living skies sunset over that field make it magical and breathtaking. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the artifacts will interest any young child with an interest in policing. The interactive prisoner transport makes for a nice little photo op with the kids. No admission, the building sits adjacent to the tourism building and the education museum.Written October 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PrairiepovEdmonton, Canada39 contributionsLocated at the visitor information center. The staff will open it for you. One room school house with the books etc. that you see in many prairie school museums. May not be of interest to kids as it is not interactive but local history buffs or folks looking for family history in the area may enjoy it.
